御屋敷が類焼した際からこの御屋敷に御仮住まいになっていることは幸いなことなので、今後お留め置きしたい旨を、御家老酒井玄蕃知房を通じて中務大輔様へ申し上げた
一、2月11日、越後守宣富様の御息女と松平元太郎宗元殿（民部大輔殿の御嫡男）との御縁組が仰せ出されたことへの御礼として、江戸表へ御書を差し出した
一、2月21日、歳暮御祝儀御献上について御内書が御城において御渡しがあった。御家来への拝領物等は例の通り
一、2月28日、中務大輔昌平様が御帰国の節、御座所へ立ち寄られたので御対顔があった
一、2月29日、米・雑穀ともに高値で町在ともに難儀しているとの願い出により沖の口留を仰せ付けたが、昨冬からますます高値になったので、沖の口を開いて他国米を入れるようにしてほしいとの町人たちからの願いの趣を町奉行海福猪兵衛本好が取り次いだので、願いの通り仰せ出された

1. On the 11th day of the 2nd month, a letter was sent to Edo as thanks for the announcement of the engagement between the daughter of Echigo-no-kami Nobutomu-sama and Matsudaira Gentarō Munemoto-dono (eldest son of Minbu-no-taifu-dono)
1. On the 21st day of the 2nd month, an imperial letter regarding the year-end celebratory offerings was presented at the castle. Gifts to retainers and such were as usual
