お越しになりご引渡しがあり、それが済んだことのご報告として、御用番・久世大和守（重之）殿へ御使者として御留守居を派遣された。
一、同日、御老中・土屋相模守（政直）殿へご面会のご挨拶に参上された。
一、四月二十二日、御老中・松平紀伊守（信庸）殿へ右同様のご挨拶に参上された。
一、四月二十三日、御老中・阿部豊後守（正喬）殿へ右同様のご挨拶に参上された。
一、四月二十五日、御老中・戸田山城守（忠真）殿へ右同様のご挨拶に参上された。
一、四月二十七日、ご帰国前につき、例の通り御仮養子の御書付（御封物）をお持参のうえ、御用番・久世大和守（重之）殿へご提出された。

一、五月十五日、松平甲斐守（吉里）殿の揚屋敷の割り残りの分を、榊原式部大輔（政邦）殿へお渡しになるにあたり（昨十四日、御普請奉行・嶋田佐渡守殿の用人・小倉半内と申す者が、御留守居・大関新五左衛門のお小屋へ罷り越して申し達した）。

[The Construction Magistrate] came to oversee the transfer [of the granted land], and upon its completion, the caretaker official (rusui) was dispatched as an envoy to the Duty Senior Councilor Kuze Yamato-no-kami (Shigeyuki) to report that the matter had been concluded.
Item: On the same day, [the lord] paid a formal courtesy visit to Senior Councilor Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami (Masanao).
Item: On the twenty-second day of the fourth month, [the lord] paid the same formal courtesy visit to Senior Councilor Matsudaira Kii-no-kami (Nobuyō).
Item: On the twenty-third day of the fourth month, [the lord] paid the same formal courtesy visit to Senior Councilor Abe Bungo-no-kami (Masataka).
Item: On the twenty-fifth day of the fourth month, [the lord] paid the same formal courtesy visit to Senior Councilor Toda Yamashiro-no-kami (Tadazane).
Item: On the twenty-seventh day of the fourth month, in preparation for the lord's return to his domain, the written notice regarding the provisional heir designation (kari-yōshi) — as was customary — was personally presented, sealed, to the Duty Senior Councilor Kuze Yamato-no-kami (Shigeyuki).

Item: On the second day of the fifth month, to celebrate the Tango no Sekku (Boys' Day Festival), an envoy was dispatched to present, as was customary, unlined summer robes (katabira) and single-layered robes (hito-e), along with an offering of silver.
Item: On the same day, as [the lord] was to depart on the third day, he made the rounds to the Senior Councilors and Chamberlains to give advance notice of his departure.
Item: On the third day of the fifth month, [the lord] departed Edo, traveling via the Nakasendō highway.
Note: Whereas the name recorded on the barrier passes (sekifuda) for the journey had previously been recorded in a certain manner, from this occasion onward it was to be recorded as "Fukui Shōshō" (the Vice-Captain of the Left Imperial Guard from Fukui).
Item: On the fifteenth day of the fifth month, regarding the transfer of the remaining portion of the redistributed estate of Matsudaira Kai-no-kami (Yoshisato) to Sakakibara Shikibu-no-taifu (Masakuni): (On the fourteenth, the previous day, a man called Ogura Han'nai, a retainer of the Construction Magistrate Shimada Sado-no-kami, came to the lodge of the caretaker official Ōseki Shingozaemon to convey this matter.)
