公方様の御不例（ご病気）からの御快然（ご快癒）を祝う御使者として、本多十郎兵衛（重安）が江戸に到着し、御用番へ罷り出た（御留守居・大関新五左衛門が同道）。御書を差し出した。
一、九月二十九日、惣出仕にて、
八十宮様（法皇御所の皇女）が
公方様へ御入輿されることが仰せ出された。
一、十月五日、中山出雲守殿より申し来たり、御留守居・宮北長左衛門が罷り出たところ、江戸の三十三間堂が先年類焼したところ、このたび再興が仰せ出され、公儀（幕府）からも下し物があるにつき、万石以上の面々からも出金するようにとの御書付をもって申し聞かされた。
但し、御家（福井藩）においては五十両を差し出すはずとのこと。
一、十月（日付不詳）、豊姫様が御袖を留められた（薨去された）。
一、十月十一日、このたび八十宮様の御入輿が仰せ出されたことを祝う御使者として、三沢甚右衛門（富久）を江戸表へ差し出された。今日、福井を出立した。
一、十月二十二日、田代道伯（陽慶）が江戸に所持している町屋敷を売り払うにつき、御普請奉行・嶋田佐渡守（正信）殿へ、左の通りの書付を御家老・稲葉采女（正方）より差し出した。

Honda Jūrōbei (Shigeyasu), dispatched as a congratulatory envoy upon the Shōgun's (Kubō-sama's) recovery from illness, arrived in Edo and appeared before the duty senior councilor (goyōban), accompanied by the resident representative (rusui) Ōzeki Shingorōzaemon. The letter (gosho) was duly presented.
Item, 29th day of the 9th month, at the general attendance (sō-shusshi):
It was decreed that Princess Yasonomiya (an Imperial princess of the Retired Emperor's household) would be wed to the Shōgun (i.e., enter his household in marriage).
Item, 5th day of the 10th month: Word came from Lord Nakayama Izumo-no-kami, and the resident representative Miyanokita Chōzaemon appeared before him. He was informed by written notice that the Sanjūsangendō hall in Edo, which had been destroyed in a fire some years prior, was now to be rebuilt by order of the authorities; that the shogunate (kōgi) would also contribute; and that lords of ten thousand koku and above were likewise expected to make monetary contributions.
Note: Our domain (the Fukui domain) is expected to contribute fifty ryō.
Item, 10th month (date unknown): Lady Toyohime passed away (御袖を留められた).
Item, 11th day of the 10th month: As a congratulatory envoy for the recently announced marriage of Princess Yasonomiya to the Shōgun, Misawa Jinzaemon (Tomihisa) was dispatched to Edo. He departed Fukui today.
Item, 22nd day of the 10th month: As Tashiro Dōhaku (Yōkei) was to sell his townhouse property (machiyashiki) in Edo, the following written memorandum was submitted by the senior retainer (karō) Inaba Uneme (Masamichi) to the construction magistrate (ofushin bugyō), Lord Shimada Sado-no-kami (Masanobu):
