一、（十一月四日、）儀左衛門（好澄）が江戸表へ派遣され、今日福井を出立した。
一、十一月五日、川端御茶屋において相撲が仰せ付けられ、御書院番・大御番・新番、同じくその子供たち、並びに与力・諸役人一統の席に至るまで見物を仰せ付けられた。
一、十一月十五日、御参勤の時節をお伺いする御使者・大谷儀左衛門（好澄）が江戸に到着し、御用番・阿部豊後守（正喬）殿のもとへ罷り出た（御留守居・宮北長左衛門が同道し）、書状を差し出した。
一、十一月十八日、御用番・阿部豊後守（正喬）殿よりお呼び出しがあり、御使者・大谷儀左衛門（好澄）が罷り出たところ、来年四月中に御参府なさるべき旨の御奉書が渡された。
一、十二月二日、御勘定奉行・水野伯耆守殿より申し来たり、御留守居が罷り出たところ、案紙を添えて、以下の通り御書付が渡された。
追って、造酒屋がない場合は、これまた書付をもって差し出すべく候。以上。
先日仰せ出された酒造米のことにつき、領知の内に造酒屋がある分は吟味のうえ、別紙案文の通り委細を帳面に記し、来る正月中までに大手御番所後の御勘定所へ差し出すべく候。以上。

Item: (On the fourth day of the eleventh month,) Gizaemon (Kōcho) departed from Fukui today, having been dispatched to Edo.
Item: On the fifth day of the eleventh month, sumo wrestling was ordered to be held at the Kawabata teahouse. All were commanded to attend as spectators, from the o-shoinban (inner guard), o-goban (great guard), and shinban (new guard), along with their children, down to the yoriki (mounted retainers), and all other officials and their attendants.
Item: On the fifteenth day of the eleventh month, the messenger sent to inquire about the timing of the lord's sankin (alternate attendance) journey, Ōtani Gizaemon (Kōcho), arrived in Edo and presented himself to the rōjū on duty (go-yōban), Abe Bungo-no-kami (Masataka), accompanied by the domain's Edo resident agent (o-rusui), Miyakita Chōzaemon, and submitted the written inquiry.
Item: On the eighteenth day of the eleventh month, having been summoned by the rōjū on duty, Abe Bungo-no-kami (Masataka), the messenger Ōtani Gizaemon (Kōcho) presented himself and received an official directive (o-bōsho) stating that [the lord] should proceed to make his attendance at Edo (go-sanpu) during the fourth month of the coming year.
Item: On the second day of the twelfth month, a communication arrived from the Commissioner of Finance (o-kanjō bugyō), Mizuno Hōki-no-kami, and the domain's Edo resident agent (o-rusui) presented himself, whereupon a written directive was delivered along with a draft document, the contents of which are as follows:
Furthermore, if there are no sake breweries [in a given area], a written statement to that effect must also be submitted. The above.
Regarding the matter of sake-brewing rice that was recently ordered [to be investigated]: for those breweries found to exist within your domain's territory, conduct a thorough investigation and record full details in a ledger in accordance with the draft document enclosed herewith, and submit [said ledger] to the Finance Office (o-kanjō-sho) located behind the Ōte Guard Station no later than during the first month of the coming year.
