現代語訳

女集《割書：銭　女飾》
市場の場所について旧記録によると、以前は天使館東の天妃宮前の平地にあった。後に馬市街に移り、今は市集が辻山の海沿いの坂上に移っている。早朝と夕方の二回市が立つ。市場には男性はおらず、すべて女性が商売を行う。売られている物は魚、海老、サツマイモ、豆腐、木製品、磁器の皿、陶器、木櫛、草履など粗末な品物ばかりで、役人の家では多くがこの市場を利用しない。

Women's Market《Marginal note: Money　Women's Ornaments》
According to old records about the marketplace location, it was formerly situated on flat ground in front of Tianfei Temple, east of the Chinese envoy's residence. Later it moved to Horse Market Street, and now the market has relocated to a slope along the coast of Tsuji Hill. The market convenes twice daily, in early morning and evening. There are no men in the marketplace - all commerce is conducted by women. The goods sold include fish, shrimp, sweet potatoes, tofu, wooden implements, porcelain dishes, pottery, wooden combs, straw sandals and other crude items. Official households largely do not patronize this market.
