**雑司ヶ谷 鬼子母神堂**
門前の両側には料理屋（飲食店）が多い。飴をこの地の名産として、「川口屋」と称するものを元祖（本家）とする。その屋号を名乗るものが今では多い。

**Zoshigaya — Kishimojin Hall**
On both sides of the approach to the gate, there are many restaurants and food establishments. *Ame* (a type of candy/malt syrup) is regarded as the local specialty product of this area. The shop called "Kawakuchi-ya" is considered the originator of this confection, and today there are many establishments that adopt the same shop name.
