To the east of Eitai Bridge, the government boat storehouse (*o-funagura*) was unharmed. The naval guard (*funate-gumi*) residence in the same area suffered major damage. To the south of the bridge, three houses at the edge of the gate in Aikawa-chō survived, while fire spread from both sides of Aikawa-chō to the south. However, to the east, the fire stopped at the rear boundary of Saga-chō and Lord Sanada's middle residence. To the south, Kumai-chō (2 blocks) and Genshōji temple in the same area burned; Tomiyoshi-chō (3 blocks), Hamaguri-chō (3 blocks), and Sainenji temple in the same area burned; the first torii gate along Naka-chō street burned down; Eitaiji West Gate-mae-chō (3 blocks), Yamamoto-chō, Nishi-Yoko-chō, and Eitaiji East Gate-mae-chō (2 blocks) burned — the fire stopped at the gate of the Hachiman shrine.
