一下馬御門罷通候軽キ者以後高足ニ而罷通候儀御法度ニ候旨被仰出候上ハ厳敷

現代語訳
蔵へ持ち出すよう申し聞かせたため、その旨を両人へ申し達した件
一、寛政二年戌四月晦日、下馬御門所が近頃みだりに（秩序が乱れて）なったため、総じて軽い身分の者たちは古来の通り高足（下駄・足駄）を御法度とする旨が仰せ出されたので、その件を触れ回るべき旨について、なお又達書の案文をもって御家老中へ伺いを立てた上で諸方面へ触れ回った。

一、これについて下馬御門所取り扱いの件で、御先物頭立岩三郎右衛門が主水の体調不良のため左十郎宅へ招いて、先達って御先物頭から伝達された問い合わせの書付の内、提札をもって御家老中へ伺いを立てた上で左の通り伝達し、なお又組の者たちへも厳しく申し付けるよう申し達した。
一、下馬御門を通る軽い身分の者は以後高足で通ることを御法度とする旨が仰せ出された上は厳しく守るよう御触れを出したい件
一、御扶持人は何の格の者以下が高足を認めないのか

一、御鍛冶たちおよび鉄砲屋合計五人の者たちが表付きの木履で通ることは構わない旨の許可を差し出した。もっとも理由については未だある
一、御用達町人たちで小者を連れている者は御免として下駄で通ることは構わないかの旨を御先物頭が問い合わせたため、その通り構わない旨を挨拶した件

1. Regarding this matter concerning the handling of Geba Gate affairs, Weapons Officer Tateiwa Saburōemon, due to Mondo's illness, was summoned to Saemon's residence. Among the inquiry documents previously transmitted by the Weapons Officer, after submitting a proposal slip to the Senior Councilors for approval, the following was conveyed, and it was further ordered that strict instructions be given to group members as well:
