今度諸組之内 不届之儀有之候者共御吟味之
上夫々被 仰付候夫ニ付組支配之勤方私欲ニ

上之御為を不顧其上頭々之難儀を無構勤方
不宜者粗相見へ申候兼而此段者御吟味も被
仰付置事ニ候得共猶以此已後人々心を附組文
配之内不宜者ハ上ゟ御《見せ消ち：■｜誘》無之以前扶持放取替
可申候尤面々了簡可有之候得共 上ゟ夫々被
仰付候而者別而頭之迷惑可致事ニ候間此段寄々
申聞候様ニ被 仰出候間左様可被相心得候以上

惣右衛門《割書：直｜朗》罷出候処新田義貞朝臣年暦之儀ニ付左之通御書
付被相渡之
新田義貞討死之年号越前国坂井郡長崎
往生院称念寺ニ有之位牌ニハ建武四年与有
之由然処御吟味有之候処暦応元年ニ相決候
且故越前守被建候石碑ニも暦応元年与有之
候得者右称念寺ニ有之位牌年号も暦応元

今度諸組の内で不届きな行為があった者たちを御吟味の
上それぞれ仰せつけられた。それについて組支配の勤務方法が私欲に
かかり、
上の御為を顧みず、その上頭々の難儀を構わず勤務方法が
よくない者が大体見受けられる。かねてよりこの件については御吟味も
仰せつけられていることであるが、なお一層この後人々が心を付け、組
支配の内でよくない者は、上からの処分がない以前に扶持を放ち取り替え
るべきである。もっとも各々の了見があることであるが、上からそれぞれ
仰せつけられては別して頭の迷惑となることであるから、この件について
申し聞かせるよう仰せ出されたので、そのように心得られたい。以上
六月二十九日
一、七月十五日、御老中松平左近将監乗邑殿より御呼び出しがあり、御留守居荒川
総右衛門直朗が参上したところ、新田義貞朝臣の年暦の件について左の通り御書
付を渡された。
新田義貞討ち死にの年号について、越前国坂井郡長崎の
往生院称念寺にある位牌には建武四年とある
とのことである。しかし御吟味があったところ暦応元年に決定した。
また故越前守が建てられた石碑にも暦応元年とある
ので、右称念寺にある位牌の年号も暦応元年

Regarding those within the various groups who committed misconduct, after investigation
each has been given appropriate assignments. Concerning this matter, the performance of duties by group supervisors has been
driven by private interest,
disregarding service to their superiors, and moreover, showing no concern for the difficulties of their department heads, with generally
poor performance being observed. Although this matter has long been
under investigation by order, people should pay even more attention hereafter, and those
among the group supervisors who perform poorly should have their stipends revoked and be replaced before
any punishment from above. While each person naturally has their own judgment, if
orders come from above for each case, it will cause particular trouble for the department heads, so
it has been ordered that this matter be communicated, and you should understand it accordingly. The above.

1. On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, there was a summons from Senior Councilor Matsudaira Sakon-shōgen Norimura, and when Deputy Castle Keeper Arakawa
Sōemon Naroaki appeared, he was given the following written document regarding the matter of the chronology of Nitta Yoshisada:
Regarding the year of Nitta Yoshisada's death in battle, the memorial tablet at
Ōjō-in Shōnen-ji Temple in Nagasaki, Sakai District, Echizen Province, bears the year Kenmu 4, it is said.
However, upon investigation, it was determined to be Ryakuō 1.
Moreover, the stone monument erected by the late Governor of Echizen also bears the year Ryakuō 1,
so the year on the memorial tablet at the aforementioned Shōnen-ji Temple should also be Ryakuō 1
