大納言様が小菅に御止宿されたことにつき、御附きの御老中松平能登守乗賢へ御出向して御礼を仰せ上げ、それから御老中・若年寄中を御廻勤された。
ただし能登守殿へは両度御廻勤された。
一、四月十六日、御老中連名の御切紙をもって東叡山火の御番を松平大炊頭継政殿の御代として仰せ蒙った。
一、同月十八日、御土産のため御使者をもって例の通り御国産の五色奉書紙を献上された。
一、同日、御精進揚げにつき御使者をもって例の通り御肴（鯛）を献上された。
一、同月十九日、去る十一日の仙洞御所崩御につき御機嫌伺いのため惣出仕につき御登城された（昨十八日一行目に御触達あり）。
一、同月二十日、御用番松平左近将監乗邑殿より御呼出しがあり、御留守居坂田七右衛門永常が罷り出た処、当年七月二日に新田義貞朝臣四百回忌に相当するにつき、長崎称念寺へ御香奠を御奉書をもって供えられる旨を御直に申され、御目録・御奉書共に御渡しがあった。
一、同日、右同断につき御請けのため御用番松平左近将監乗邑殿へ御使者として御留守居をもって左の通り御口上を指し出された。

Since the Great Counselor was staying overnight in Kosuge, [the lord] went out to the attending senior councilor Matsudaira Noto-no-kami Norimasa to express gratitude, and then made courtesy visits to the senior councilors and junior councilors.
However, to Noto-no-kami, he made courtesy visits twice.
1. On April 16th, through a joint written order from the senior councilors, [the lord] received orders to serve as fire guard duty at Tōeizan temple in place of Matsudaira Ōi-no-kami Tsugimasa.
1. On the 18th of the same month, as gifts, through an envoy and following precedent, five-colored ceremonial paper produced in his domain was presented.
1. On the same day, regarding the end of the abstinence period, through an envoy and following precedent, ceremonial fish (sea bream) was presented.
1. On the 19th of the same month, regarding the passing of the Sento Imperial Palace on the 11th, for inquiring after [the shogun's] well-being, all retainers assembled and [the lord] ascended to the castle (official notice was given yesterday on the 18th in the first line).
1. On the 20th of the same month, there was a summons from the duty official Matsudaira Sakon-no-shogen Norimura, and when the castle keeper Sakata Shichizaemon Nagatsune appeared, he was directly informed that since this year July 2nd corresponds to the 400th memorial anniversary of Nitta Yoshisada, incense offerings would be provided to Shōnenji temple in Nagasaki through an official letter, and both the catalog and official letter were handed over.
1. On the same day, regarding the above matter, as acknowledgment, an envoy was sent to the duty official Matsudaira Sakon-no-shogen Norimura through the castle keeper with the following oral message.
