当国坂井郡長崎往生院称念寺へ御香奠として白銀百枚を御供えになされる件につき、称念寺へ御奉書を下されるとの旨、ただ今家来の者が呼ばれ、右の御目録・御奉書を御渡しになり、委細を御書付をもって仰せ聞かされた趣を承知いたしました。早速称念寺へ相談いたします。この段について御意を得るため使者をもって申し達します。以上

一、四月二十三日、公儀より長崎称念寺へ供える御香奠並びに御奉書を御勝手役戸枝市郎兵衛が持参し、今日江戸御屋敷を出立した。
ただし市郎兵衛は五月二日に福井へ着いた。
一、同月二十四日、御用番松平左近将監乗邑殿より御呼出しがあり、御留守居坂田七右衛門永常が罷り出た処、先達って御伺いされた長崎称念寺新田義貞朝臣の御霊前へ御香奠を供えられることにつき、称念寺御礼の件について、右御法事が済んだ後、御礼のため出府して御屋敷まで罷り出るよう御指図があった。
一、同月二十五日、御老中本多中務大輔忠良殿へ御逢対して御勤めした。
一、五月二日、端午の御祝儀のため御使者をもって例の通り御帷子・御単を献上された。
一、同月三日、御老中松平左近将監乗邑殿へ御逢対して御勤めした。

Regarding the matter of offering one hundred pieces of white silver as incense offering to Shōnenji temple at Ōjōin in Nagasaki, Sakai District of our domain, and issuing an official letter to Shōnenji temple - just now a retainer was summoned, the aforementioned catalog and official letter were handed over, and the details conveyed through written instructions have been acknowledged. [We] will promptly communicate with Shōnenji temple. This message is conveyed through an envoy to obtain your approval. The above.
April 20th, Matsudaira Hyōbu-dayū
1. On April 23rd, the incense offering and official letter to be provided to Shōnenji temple in Nagasaki from the shogunate were carried by the financial officer Toeda Ichirōbei, who departed from the Edo residence today.
Note: Ichirōbei arrived in Fukui on May 2nd.
1. On the 24th of the same month, there was a summons from the duty official Matsudaira Sakon-no-shōgen Norimura, and when the castle keeper Sakata Shichizaemon Nagatsune appeared, regarding the incense offering to be provided to the spirit of Nitta Yoshisada at Shōnenji temple in Nagasaki which had been previously inquired about, concerning Shōnenji temple's expression of gratitude, instructions were given that after the said memorial service is completed, [they] should come to the capital to express gratitude and appear at the residence.
1. On the 25th of the same month, [the lord] had an audience with Senior Councilor Honda Nakatsukasa-dayū Tadayoshi and performed his duties.
