1. The banquet for the guard captain is shared and handled by the deputy chiefs. It should be held around the hour of the Horse (noon), and after guiding them to the residence of the shrine attendant deputy chief, clean bowls, small golden boats, etc., are brought to retrieve sake from the sake hall. The items are detailed in a separate record. The sacred sake is set aside and presented at the government office around the hour of the Monkey (3 PM). At this time, it is not necessary for all deputy chiefs to be present; it suffices if three people from the deputy chief residence attend. (The guard captain's sake and subsequent presentation items are recorded separately.)
Tenth Day
1. The guard captain's banquet and sake, etc., are the same as the previous day.
Eleventh Day
1. This morning's government office meal is to be provided and displayed by the deputy chiefs.
1. The guard captain's banquet is as on the previous day.
1. Tonight there is a collection for meal expenses, so when the guard captain's sake is served, the deputy chiefs also go to the government office. Since there will be advance notice from the deputy chiefs about the time limit, they first go to the deputy chief residence in purification robes. (At this time, they bring the previously prepared paper for the five village record books, inkstone, brushes, ink, dragon-shaped [ink stick], small knife, etc., in a paper bag.)
There is a departure toast. Those who gather are the deputy chiefs, senior officials, seal officials, etc. Roles such as minor diary readers do not need to gather. After the toast ceremony is completed, they assemble at the government office. These people are, as on the ninth and tenth days: ten village representatives, three storehouse officials, stewards, and senior officials - fourteen people in total. After each assembles, they take their seats. (Village representatives in rotation.)
(Five people are seated on the Negi priest's tatami according to village order. Deputy chiefs, senior officials, seal officials, etc., are seated on the blessing priest's tatami. Deputy chiefs in upper seats, senior officials, seal officials, etc., attend according to seniority order. Village representatives and stewards are seated divided left and right according to seniority order.)
At this time, the master carpenter (wearing plain court dress) comes to the government office and, at the cutting board area (while standing on the east side), hands over divination sticks (ten pieces), counting rods (eighty-one pieces), abacus (one piece), etc., to the ceremony officiant.
