英語訳

They dispersed as soon as the collection ceremony was completed. (However, after those subject to collection had dispersed, customary collections from shrine officials and shrine members were conducted for convenience.) (The account boxes were entrusted to the officiating shrine attendants as on the previous day, and everyone dispersed.) 1. The ceremony of the minor administrator delivering daily offerings was the same as the previous day. 1. Regarding the withdrawal of first fruits offerings from Nara Shrine, the officiating shrine attendants announced this and the village representatives received them. Additionally, from the ascetic leaders came flat casks (one gō), pheasants (one male bird), and persimmons on skewers (two skewers with sake cups added), which were delivered. The officiating shrine attendants announced this and distributed them to the village representatives and treasury officials. (However, the pheasants were delivered alternately among the five village representatives.) 1. From the deputy chief came grilled rice cakes, sacred sake, side dishes, sweet sake, etc., and from both Ōmiya and Koyama villages came ground tea. After the officiating shrine attendants announced each of these, they were distributed to the village representatives and treasury officials. The 14th day 1. Today is the day of the Sacred Shelf Festival. Accordingly, the police officials prepared divine offerings at the deputy chief's residence. Later, around the early afternoon (1-3 PM), the deputy chief sent notice to the village representatives and below, and notice was also sent to the treasury officials as on the previous day. Each assembled at the deputy chief's residence in purification robes (the items brought were the same as the previous day), and those who prepared the police officials' offerings did likewise. At that time there was a celebratory offering. The divine offerings were transported from the deputy chief's residence to the office building, with the police officials' supervisors, Ono village headman, and treasury officials accompanying them along the way. After the divine offerings arrived at the office building, they were carried up from the western stone platform, the treasury officials entered from the northern earthen floor area, and each took their seats as on the previous day. After the village representatives and deputy officials had assembled, the Ono village headman asked everyone present whether the seal on the spice box could be broken. After they responded "yes," he broke it and read out the divine offerings. At the same time, the village representatives and deputy chief opened the account boxes.
