硯箱等持参于目代々之前仍神主え𠮷書之義始之
現代語訳
初献《大豆・海帯を布目土器に入れ、掻鱠を布目土器に入れる》、煮物《薯蕷の上に海鼠を置き、串蚫等を小角に入れる》、漆箸《杉箸》。以上を片木に載せ、次に盞《三度土器》を一枚ずつ人別に配る。次に御酒《濁酒を提に入れ、神人が酌をする》。目代から初献及び三献の後にこれを撤収する《ただし箸は残しておく》。二献《数の子二切を布目土器に入れ、於呂志鱠も同様》、吸物《塩鯛・豆腐を三度土器に入れる》。初回と同様に片木に載せる。御酒《清酒を提に入れる》。三献が終了したら撤収する。三献《割海老を布目土器に入れ、章子五切も同様》、吸物《小鮒を布目土器に入れる》。載せ物は前回と同様、御酒《清酒、前回と同様》。この時、目代に鏡餅を供える《ただし近代では献上の前に供える。その品目は鏡餅一、菱葩餅一枚、串柿一串、十指昆布一本、榧五斗、搗栗五斗、神馬草二把、柿・柑子等である。敷紙に載せて三方に置く》。しばらくして撤収する。併せて小目代にも小鏡餅一《上に柑子一を置く》を小角に載せて供える《小目代が懐に入れる》。御酒はこの時また三献。以上、献上の儀は九献に及ぶ。目代から矢刀祢に盞を遣わす《ただし目代は三献、目一献を残す。次座に置き、終了後に三献目を加えてこれを矢刀祢に遣わす》。矢刀祢が頂戴した後、御酒を納めることが終了し、各自退散する。
四日
一 今朝の庁飯は目代代々の分担として供出すること。
一 申刻頃に神主亭に向かい、卯鑰社古書の儀を勤める。正目代も同道《各々浄衣・刺貫・風折烏帽子・藺沓・小刀は随意》。一人を召し具する《正目代から来る》。まず神主亭に向かう《この時、吉書の案文を持参》。玄関から案内を請い、それにより神師が出向いて座敷に案内する。この時神主《狩衣》が出座し、互いに一礼を済ませる。神主と相対して着座《まず目代代々、次に目代》。次に神師が料紙《奉書一帖或いは杉原》、硯箱等を目代代々の前に持参する。よって神主への吉書の義を始める。

First offering《soybeans and kelp placed in cloth-textured earthenware vessels, minced raw fish placed in cloth-textured earthenware vessels》, boiled dishes《sea cucumber placed on top of yam, skewered shellfish etc. placed in small angular vessels》, lacquered chopsticks《cedar chopsticks》. The above are placed on wooden trays, then sake cups《ceremonial earthenware》are distributed one per person. Next, sacred sake《unrefined sake placed in ritual vessels, with shrine attendants serving》. After the first and third offerings from the mokudai, these are cleared away《however, chopsticks are left behind》. Food arrangement same as before, sacred sake《refined sake, same as before》. At this time, mirror rice cakes are offered to the mokudai《however, in recent times they are offered before the presentation. The items include: one mirror rice cake, one diamond-shaped rice cake, one string of persimmons, one piece of wide kelp, five measures of nutmeg, five measures of pounded chestnuts, two bundles of sacred horse grass, persimmons, citrus fruits, etc. Placed on ceremonial paper on a three-legged stand》. After a while, cleared away. Additionally, for the minor mokudai, one small mirror rice cake《with one citrus fruit placed on top》 is placed on a small angular vessel and offered《the minor mokudai places it in his bosom》. Sacred sake at this time is again three offerings. In total, the presentation ceremony extends to nine offerings. The mokudai sends a cup to Yatone《however, the mokudai reserves three offerings and one special offering, placing them in the next seat, and after completion adds the third offering to send to Yatone》. After Yatone receives it, the offering of sacred sake is completed, and everyone disperses.
Fourth Day
1. This morning's office meal shall be provided as the successive mokudai's share.
1. Around the hour of the Monkey (3-5 PM), proceed to the head priest's residence to perform the ceremony of the ancient documents of Ubuki Shrine. The head mokudai accompanies《each wearing pure white robes, court dress, folding court caps, rush sandals, small swords at discretion》. One person is summoned to accompany《coming from the head mokudai》. First proceed to the head priest's residence《at this time, bringing the draft text for the auspicious document》. Request guidance from the entrance, whereupon a priest comes out to guide them to the sitting room. At this time the head priest《wearing hunting robes》 takes his seat, and they exchange mutual bows. Sit facing the head priest《first the successive mokudai, then the mokudai》. Next, the priest brings writing paper《one bundle of ceremonial paper or Sugiwara paper》, an inkstone box, etc. before the successive mokudai. Therefore, the matter of the auspicious document for the head priest begins.
