現代語訳
パリ等で行われた妖法・邪宗の類はみな改易したという。このように言ってはいるものの、所持している仏像は甚だ怪しいものである。そのため仏心の由来を尋ね聞いたところ、並びに仏像を写し取って後に記す。
安永七年戊戌の年（ロシアの暦では1774年）、赤人が蝦夷地に来たりて、日本との交易を請うた。
