イに住んでおり、各々士官の中に加えられ、その二人については詳しいことは分からない。一人は帝よりベイタラレヲンセ-ヱ-イチ-ヤという名を賜り（日本での名は分からない）、およそ行年八十に近いと言われるが、健やかで勤仕している。その子（名は聞かない）は才智がある。
英語訳
They live in Irkutsk and have each been incorporated among the officers. The details about two of them are unknown. One person was granted the name "Beitarareonsee-e-ichiya" by the Emperor (his Japanese name is unknown). He is said to be nearly eighty years old, but remains healthy and continues his service. His son (whose name I have not heard) possesses intelligence and talent.
