現代語訳
クナシリ島やアッケシの酋長たちには、船にあった品物を分け取ったことを、ロシア人が大いに恨んでいると告げた。この恨みを償うために財宝を出すべきだと謀って、そしてこれを奪おうと欲している。その私欲が明らかになったため、酋長たちは今年、ハウシビを捕らえて土風の刑に処すると言っている。
また問う。明和8年辛卯（ロシア暦1771年）、その国のハンベンゴロという者が日本の南海に漂着し、阿波国主の庇護を受けた。
英語訳
[The Ainu] told the chiefs of Kunashiri Island and Akkeshi that the Russians greatly resented their taking and dividing the goods that were on the ship. They plotted that treasures should be offered to appease this resentment, and [the Russians] desired to seize these. Because their private greed became apparent, the chiefs say that this year they will capture Haushibi and subject him to punishment according to local custom.
Furthermore, [the document] asks: In Meiwa 8, year of the Metal Rabbit (Russian year 1771), a person from that country named Hambengoro drifted to the southern seas of Japan and received protection from the lord of Awa Province.
