現代語訳
一つの村の酋長たる者が、天・地・火・風・水の神々を祭る。天はカントウカムイ、火はアベカムイ、地はカンナシリカムイ、風はレラカムイ、水はワーツカカムイと唱える。これをヤウマンデと言う。この祭りを行うには、檀を設け、四方に幣（イナホ・ヌサ）を建てる。柳の木を削って花のように造る。その地にある財宝を飾る。日本の武器及びクハサキ・シトキの類である。
英語訳
The chieftain of a village worships the deities of heaven, earth, fire, wind, and water. Heaven is called Kantou Kamui, fire is Abe Kamui, earth is Kannashiri Kamui, wind is Rera Kamui, and water is Waatsuka Kamui. This ceremony is called Yaumande. To perform this ritual, they set up an altar and erect ritual offerings (Inaho/Nusa) in the four directions. They carve willow wood to create flower-like decorations. They display the treasures found in that place, including Japanese weapons and items of the Kuhasaki and Shitoki types.
