現代語訳
客一人ひとりに与え、壇に供えた飼い熊を射ることを請う。客もまた、先に射ることを辞退して主人に譲る。そして主人は弓矢を執って天地四方に向かい、射礼を行う。次に客は皆立って熊を射る。また射殺した熊には供え物がある。終わって熊を割き、肉を煮て、それから饗宴を行う。
英語訳
[The host] gives [arrows] to each guest and requests them to shoot the bear that has been kept and offered on the altar. The guests also decline to shoot first and defer to the host. Then the host takes up his bow and arrows, faces the heavens, earth, and four directions, and performs the shooting ritual. Next, all the guests stand and shoot the bear. There are also offerings made to the bear that has been shot and killed. When this is finished, they cut up the bear, cook the meat, and then hold a feast.
