現代語訳

エフリコ この植物はまだ詳しく調べられていない。松前の人々は薬として用いる。形状は桑の実のような性質である。味は甘い。
アイヌの人々が持参したテレメンと呼ばれる物と同じである。
前に述べた以外にも雑草や雑木が多いと言われているが、本州の植物と違いがなく、アイヌ名も詳しく分からないので、これらについては省略する。

Efuriko: This plant has not yet been studied in detail. The people of Matsumae use it as medicine. Its form has characteristics similar to mulberry fruit. Its taste is sweet.
It is the same as the substance called "telemen" that the Ainu people brought.
Although it is said that there are many wild grasses and trees besides those mentioned above, since they do not differ from the plants of the main provinces and their Ainu names are not well known, I will omit them.
