排泄物或病毒に汚染したる器具を消毒法施行の場所
に送るも亦其手続を定め注意を加ふへし 同上
第二十二条 「虎列刺」病者の死屍は該地方にて定めたる
埋葬地に非ざれは他に運送するを許さす運送の器も
再ひ生人に用ゆるを禁す而して其通路は最捷近なる
ものを撰ふへし
第二十三条 内国の港湾に於て往来の船舶に「虎列刺」病
者あるか或は十日以内に此病に斃れたるものある時
は繋泊前其舟師より該地の委員或は区戸長に届出て

第二十条 「コレラ」病者を運搬し、或いは該当病に罹りて後他所へ行き、或いは患者若しくは屍体に触れた物品を消毒法を行わざる前に贈与・受用をする等、すべて不注意によって病毒を他に伝播すべき事件を禁止すべきである。
第二十一条 「コレラ」病者を病院或いはその自宅に送るには、各地方においてこの規則を参考にし、相当の手続を定め、みだりに運搬転移することを禁じ、かつその運送器は世間公用のものを用いることを許さず、運送後は消毒法を行わしむべきである。排泄物或いは病毒に汚染した器具を消毒法施行の場所に送ることも亦その手続を定め注意を加えるべきである。 同上

shall pay attention to matters concerning general cleanliness of toilets, garbage pits, sewers, ditches, etc. However, cleaning during an epidemic may sometimes cause more harm than good, so disinfection methods should be performed instead.
Article 20: The following actions shall be prohibited as they may spread disease toxins to others through negligence: transporting "cholera" patients, traveling elsewhere after contracting the disease, or giving or receiving items that have touched patients or corpses before disinfection methods have been performed.
Article 21: When sending "cholera" patients to hospitals or their homes, each locality shall refer to these regulations and establish appropriate procedures, prohibiting arbitrary transportation and transfer. Public transportation vehicles shall not be used, and disinfection methods must be performed after transport. The same procedures and precautions shall be established for sending excrement or equipment contaminated with disease toxins to disinfection sites. Same as above.
Article 22: Corpses of "cholera" patients shall not be transported anywhere other than burial grounds designated by the local area. Transportation containers shall be prohibited from reuse for living persons. The route shall be chosen to be the shortest possible.
Article 23: When ships arriving at domestic ports have "cholera" patients aboard, or when someone has died from this disease within ten days, the ship's captain must report to the local committee members or ward/village heads before mooring, and (continues...)
