　院せしむることあるべし
　　但し避病院は其構造極めて軽易を主とし三棟を建
　　るか或は一棟にして室に区画し軽症重症恢復期の
　　患者を分ち置くへし
第四条　避病院には黄色の布にＱ字を黒記したる標旗
　を建て其境界には制止榜を立て厳しく外人の交通を
　絶つへし且つ該院に需用する一切の物品は使丁を定
　めて購求し其使丁は決して病室に入り或は病毒汚染
　の物品に触れしむるべからす
第五条　避病院の病者全快したるときは委員より全快
　の証書を与へ衣服其他一切の什具に消毒法を行ひ退
　院せしむへし病者軽快に赴くとも委員の許可を得る

　に於て相定し妄りに埋葬すへからす但し該地方に墓
　地を有するもの委員の許可を得消毒法を行ふの後は
　運搬するも妨けなし

第六条　避病院において死亡した者の埋葬地は委員において相談して定め、みだりに埋葬してはならない。ただしその地方に墓地を有する者は委員の許可を得て消毒法を行った後は運搬しても差し支えない。
　　以上六条は開港場がある地方において検疫規則に参考にして施行すべきものとする。

Article 4　Isolation hospitals shall display a yellow flag with the letter "Q" marked in black, and prohibition signs shall be erected at their boundaries to strictly prevent contact with outsiders. Furthermore, all supplies needed by said hospital shall be procured by designated attendants, and these attendants must never enter patient rooms or touch items contaminated with disease toxins.
Article 5　When patients in isolation hospitals have fully recovered, committee members shall issue certificates of recovery and perform disinfection procedures on clothing and all other personal effects before discharge. Even if patients are improving, they must not be permitted to leave the hospital grounds without committee permission.
Article 6　Burial sites for those who die in isolation hospitals shall be determined through consultation among committee members, and burial must not be conducted arbitrarily. However, for those who have burial grounds in the local area, transportation is permissible after obtaining committee permission and performing disinfection procedures.
　　The above six articles are to be implemented with reference to quarantine regulations in areas with open ports.
