現代語訳

の朱印を今所持している。その子の肥前守成俊《初名は甚太郎》も同じく     川中島に居住し上杉景勝に仕え、景勝からの御朱印を今でも     取り持っている。その子は即ち藤右衛門成秀である《初名は甚平、また留之助》。景     勝が会津に入部の際、信州から会津へ参り、岩瀬郡長     沼に居住した。その後景勝が羽州米沢へ移封の節に浪人と     なり、追って鳥居左景亮様へ二百五十石で御奉公した。その節     藤右衛門と名乗り銭大将を相勤め、居住地は羽州最上。     入部の節百石加増を拝領し、都合三百五十石を賜り、     役義が差し替えられ鉄砲大将を申し付けられた。外に二男藤右衛門     成義に百五十石を下し置かれた。その後藤右衛門成秀が病死した。     後跡式として三百五十石の内三百石は嫡子留之助に     下し置き、五十石は二男藤右衛門成義に御添知として     下し置かれたところ、鳥居家御減知の節に浪人した。  一 寛永十三年子年九月、羽州最上において前知の    通り二百石を下し置かれ、外様として召し出され、山野辺    御代官を仰せ付けられた。  一 同十四年丑年三月、山形御城米を越前敦賀へ    御廻米御払いにつき渡海運送差引をするよう    仰せ付けられ、坂田へ罷り越し御用を調え、同九月に罷り帰った。

His son, Hizen-no-kami Naritoshi 《originally called Jintarō》, likewise     resided in Kawanakajima and served Uesugi Kagekatsu, and still     maintains the vermillion seal from Kagekatsu. His son was indeed Tōemon Naruhide 《originally called Jinpei, also Tomenosuke》. When Kage-     katsu entered Aizu domain, he came from Shinano to Aizu and resided in Naga-     numa in Iwase District. Later, when Kagekatsu was transferred to Yonezawa in Dewa Province, he became a rōnin.     Subsequently, he served Lord Torii Sakage with a stipend of 250 koku. At that time,     he took the name Tōemon and served as zeni-taishō (money magistrate), residing in Mogami in Dewa Province.     Upon entering the domain, he received an increase of 100 koku, totaling 350 koku,     his duties were reassigned and he was appointed as teppō-taishō (firearms commander). Additionally, his second son Tōemon     Nariyoshi was granted 150 koku. Later, Tōemon Naruhide died of illness.     As inheritance, of the 350 koku, 300 koku was granted     to his eldest son Tomenosuke, and 50 koku was granted as additional stipend     to his second son Tōemon Nariyoshi. However, when the Torii house had its stipend reduced, they became rōnin.  一 In the 13th year of Kan'ei, year of the rat (1636), 9th month, in Mogami in Dewa Province, according to     previous knowledge, he was granted 200 koku and summoned as an outsider vassal, and was     appointed as Yamanobe deputy magistrate.  一 In the 14th year, year of the ox (1637), 3rd month, regarding the transfer of rice from Yamagata Castle to Tsuruga in Echizen     for official rice distribution, he was ordered to handle the maritime transport and management.     He went to Sakata, completed his duties, and returned in the 9th month of the same year.
