　　　御着城御観式之節嫡子之席ニ而
　　　御目見被　仰付候右御用向ニ付而は

　一　同年三月実父鋤栖又左衛門拝領
　　　仕候御紋之御上下御小袖得譲罷在申
　　　候間為冥加着用仕度旨被任願候

　一　同年六月剣術出精之上業上達
　　　致候ニ付是迄之通一《見せ消ち：斯｜期》之内傾修行
　　　被　仰付費金是迄之通被下置候

　一　同年八月追鳥狩之節罷出獲仕候
　　　　但獲之鳥拝領仕候事

　一　同月御親衛組被　仰付候御礼初

現代語訳

御着城御観式の節、嫡子の席にて御目見を仰せ付けられた。右の御用向につきましては、御供番頭の差図を得て相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた件

一　同年三月　実父鋤栖又左衛門が拝領仕った御紋の御上下・御小袖を譲り受けて罷り在り申し候間、冥加のため着用仕りたき旨、願いの通りに任せられた件

一　同年四月　塩村へ遠足を致した件

一　同年六月　剣術出精の上、業が上達したにつき、これまでの通り一期の内、傾修行を仰せ付けられ、費用金はこれまでの通り下し置かれた件

一　同年八月　追鳥狩の節に罷り出て獲物を仕った件
　　但し、獲った鳥を拝領仕った件

一　同月　御親衛組を仰せ付けられた御礼として、初めての御目見を仰せ付けられた件

一　同年十月　当追鳥狩の節、御場が転じられた後に手始めしたところ、列伍足並等が格別によろしく

英語訳

During the ceremony of arriving at the castle, he was granted an audience in the position of heir. Regarding these official duties, he was ordered to serve under the direction of the retainer group leader.

First: In the 3rd month of the same year - He had received the crested formal wear (kamishimo) and small sleeves that his biological father Sukisu Matazaemon had been granted, and his request to wear them as a mark of gratitude was approved.

First: In the 4th month of the same year - He made an excursion to Shiomura.

First: In the 6th month of the same year - Due to his diligence in swordsmanship and improvement in skill, he was ordered to continue his concentrated training for one term as before, and the expense money was granted as previously.

First: In the 8th month of the same year - He participated in the bird hunting and made a catch.
　　However, he was granted the birds he caught.

First: In the same month - As gratitude for being appointed to the personal guard unit, he was granted his first audience.

First: In the 10th month of the same year - During the bird hunting, after the hunting ground was changed, when he began, his formation and marching were exceptionally good.
