現代語訳

につき郡奉行仮役を仰せ付けられ、御代官の長山甚五衛門と同道して、郡同心小頭二人、本郷足軽五人を召し連れ、御酒・御昼休などの御用を勤め、御帰りの節も勢国堂峠まで出向いた。

一　同七寅年七月　内証（家計）が相続し難いため、南山御蔵入御代官を仰せ付けていただきたい旨を願い申し上げたところ、同年八月に御蔵入南山御代官を仰せ付けられ、格式は金山奉行の次に仰せ付けられた。

一　正徳三巳年八月　数年間勤務に怠りなく勤めたため、御褒美として時服を下し置かれた。

一　同年十一月　数年間実直に勤めたため、役組を仰せ付けられた。

一　同四午年十二月　小川庄御代官仮役を仰せ付けられ、同申の六月まで勤めた。

一　享保元申年十二月　願いの通り、息子の常右衛門が御番代を仰せ付けられた。

For this purpose, he was appointed as temporary district magistrate, and accompanied by Deputy Nagayama Jin'goemon, he took along two gun-dōshin kōgashira (district constable squad leaders) and five Hongō foot soldiers, carrying out official duties including providing sake and lunch service, and even went out to Saikoku-dō Pass on the return journey.

First: Same 7th year of Tora (1710), 7th month - Because his personal finances made it difficult to maintain his position, he petitioned to be appointed as Nanzan domain warehouse deputy (mizoiri-daikan). In the 8th month of the same year, he was appointed as Nanzan domain warehouse deputy, with a rank positioning just below that of gold mine magistrate.

First: Shōtoku 3rd year of Mi (1713), 8th month - Because he had served diligently without negligence for several years, he was granted seasonal court dress (jifuku) as a reward.

First: Same year, 11th month - Because he had served faithfully for several years, he was appointed to a regular position (yaku-gumi).

First: Same 4th year of Uma (1714), 12th month - He was appointed as temporary deputy of Ogawa-shō and served until the 6th month of the same Saru year.

First: Kyōhō 1st year of Saru (1716), 12th month - As petitioned, his son Tsunemon was appointed as guard substitute (o-bandai).
