• Kyōhō 13th year (1728), 1st month: As requested by his father, he was granted his first audience with the lord.
• Hōreki 4th year (1754), 4th month: As requested by his father, he was appointed as guard substitute and served castle guard duty in Ohara Gorōemon's unit.
• Same 6th year (1756), 3rd month: His request to change his name to Bunzaemon was granted.
• Same 8th year (1758), 2nd month: As requested by unit leader Ohara Gorōemon, he was relieved of his duties, with Kajiwara Heima as his successor.
