○同二年（1649年）二月五日、伊予国松山・宇和島辺りで大地震。城中の石垣が崩れ、民家が多く損なわれた。同年六月二十日、江戸も同様で、大名屋敷・民家が破れ倒れ、多くの人が死亡した。
○同三年（1650年）三月二十三日夜、関東大地震。以上は「或記」による。
◆後西天皇・寛文二年（1662年）五月一日、大地震。京都五条の石橋が崩れ、近江国朽木谷の山が崩れて民家がことごとく埋まり、身分の貴賤を問わず非常に多くの人が死亡した。同年十一月、大隅国の山が崩れ、海が陸地となった。余震がたびたび発生し、その年の終わりまで続いた。（本朝年代記・地震考による）

◆東山天皇・元禄十六年（1703年）十一月二十二日、丑の刻（午前2時頃）、江戸大地震。武家・町屋ともに破損し、相模国小田原は他の地域よりも被害が強く、民家が倒れ、箱根山が崩れて道がふさがった。同時に各所で出火し、多くの人が死亡した。海辺に逃げた者は津波によって死亡した。
