現代語訳
鈴木、石川、坂巻、福井、山崎様邸が焼失。上野丁一丁目横丁は吉田様邸で火が止まった。東叡山の御堂は別状なく、山内の宿坊は少々破損。不忍弁才天社内は大破し、池の端仲丁は少々損傷。御数寄屋丁は全て崩壊。
天神下通りの御屋敷は大半が崩れ、茅町は一丁目・二丁目が潰れた上に残らず焼失。山側は残ったが崩れた家が多い。それより上野山下通りは損傷し、広徳寺前通りは格別の被害なく、下谷稲荷・柳の稲荷等は破損。総じてこの辺りは寺院が多い所なので破損がおびただしい。阿部川丁は緩やかな被害。また菊屋橋西新寺丁より出火して両側半丁程焼失。
また三十三間堂前の山本仁太夫、矢来内は潰れた上に出火して矢来内のみ焼失。同所の矢先稲荷は残る。この辺りは総て全潰。同じく海禅寺門前・極楽寺門前・燈明寺門前・源空寺門前等は崩れが多い。
東門跡添地は大破、幡随院門前は損傷、山伏丁・山崎丁辺りは潰れが多く、新坂本町は総潰れ。入谷辺りは大破、下谷坂本丁二丁目・三丁目は焼失。同四丁目は大破、小野照崎明神は少々損傷、根岸辺りは崩れが多い。同じく金杉町四丁は総潰れで圧死する者が多い。三嶋の社・火除観音は大破、同じく龍泉寺丁は総崩れ。龍泉寺・大音寺・西徳寺・鷲大明神等は大いに震動。また蓑輪新町から天王前まで潰れが多く、小塚原中村丁の旅籠屋は残らず焼失。それより橋戸河原・千住河門宿は大破損。
潰れ家千七百二十一軒、潰れ土蔵百九十八ヶ所、死人多数。
十四日、小石川御門外水戸様御屋敷の百軒長屋向かい側が飛び飛びに焼失。同じく芨坂丁・水戸町辺りは潰れが多く、同じく伝通院門前は少々損傷、白山・巣鴨・駒込辺りの損傷は少々。団子坂・下谷中・三崎丁は総崩れ。

The residences of Suzuki, Ishikawa, Sakamaki, Fukui, and Yamazaki were burned. In Ueno-cho 1-chome side street, the fire was stopped at the Yoshida residence. The main halls of Toeisan (Kan'ei-ji Temple) suffered no particular damage, though some lodging quarters within the temple grounds sustained minor damage. The grounds of Shinobazu Benzaiten shrine were severely damaged, and Ikenohata Naka-cho suffered some damage. Osukiya-cho completely collapsed.
Most of the samurai residences along Tenjinshita-dori collapsed. Kaya-cho's 1st and 2nd districts collapsed and were completely burned. The mountainside areas remained but many houses collapsed. From there, Ueno Yamashita-dori was damaged. Kotoku-ji temple front street had no particular damage, while Shitaya Inari and Yanagi no Inari shrines were damaged. Generally, this area has many temples, so the damage was extensive. Abekawa-cho had moderate damage. Also, a fire broke out from Kikuyabashi Nishi-Shinji-cho and burned about half a block on both sides.
At Sanjusangen-do front, Yamamoto Nitayu's residence and the area within the bamboo fence collapsed and caught fire, with only the fenced area burning. Yasaki Inari shrine at the same location remained. This entire area was completely destroyed. Similarly, there was much collapse at the temple gates of Kaizen-ji, Gokuraku-ji, Tomyo-ji, and Genkuu-ji.
The attached lands of Higashi Monzeki were severely damaged, Banzui-in gate front was damaged, and there were many collapses around Yamabushi-cho and Yamazaki-cho. Shin-Sakamoto-cho completely collapsed. The Iriya area was severely damaged, and Shitaya Sakamoto-cho 2nd and 3rd districts burned down. The 4th district was severely damaged, Ono Terusaki Myojin shrine was slightly damaged, and there were many collapses around Negishi. Similarly, Kanasugi-cho 4th district completely collapsed with many people crushed to death. Mishima shrine and Hiyoke Kannon were severely damaged. Ryusen-ji district completely collapsed. Ryusen-ji temple, Daion-ji temple, Saitoku-ji temple, Washi Daimyojin shrine and others shook violently.
