総じてこの辺りは大潰れである。それより小名木川辺は大破損し、海辺大工町より清住町辺にかけて潰れが多い。仙台様の蔵屋敷は損じ、伊勢崎町一丁目・二丁目が焼けた。西平野町・富久町・三角屋敷、この辺りはことごとく潰れた。寺町通りの諸寺院は大破。霊巌寺・浄心寺・雲光院などは大破。正覚寺橋通り・一色町・万年町辺はことごとく潰れた。閻魔堂橋・綱打場辺は少したるみ、佐賀町は大いに崩れた。相川町・熊井町・中島町・大島町まで焼けた。富吉町通り・北川町は八幡橋の際にて三軒だけ残った。蛤町は少々残り、黒江町・三念寺が焼けた。永代寺門前・山本町よりがたくり橋の際まででとまった。またひと口は和倉にて、北本所代地・佐賀町代地などが焼けた。永代寺・八幡宮は無事。社内は破損あり。同・三十三間堂は大破。木場は損じ、洲崎弁天は無事。それより砂村辺は大破。潰れ家四千九百三軒、同・土蔵七百八十五〔ヶ所〕。

⑱〔北本所〕 北本所・表町は総潰れ。本久寺・朝日神明宮は損じ、最勝寺・実相寺・長健寺などは大破。原庭町・荒井町・番場町・妙源寺は大破。石原町は半丁焼けた。この辺り総崩れにて死人多し。吾妻橋向こいは松平越前守様・細川能登守様が大破。竹町・中の郷元町は大破にて、同所八軒町は総崩れ。松倉町・石原新町辺の御組屋敷は破損。業平橋向こいの押上・土手通りは大破。大雲寺・最教寺は大破。霊山寺・法恩寺辺は潰れが多く、法恩寺橋東詰の北側が少々焼けた。本所五ツ目渡場際は十軒ほど焼けた。亀戸天満宮は格別のことなく、亀戸町は二ヶ所が焼失。同所・光蔵寺・長寿寺・津軽越中守様・龍眼寺・柳島法性寺・妙見宮などは大破。小梅村・瓦町は焼失。同所・枕橋の際は大地が四尺ほど窪んだ。三巡稲荷・牛の御前・弘福寺などは大破。長命寺・蓮花寺・木母寺などは潰れが多い。総じて隅田川の堤は裂け割れ、地中より泥を吹き出した。

In general, there was massive collapse throughout this area. From there, the area around the Onagi River suffered major damage. There was much collapse from Umibe Daiku-machi to the Kiyosumi-chō area. The warehouse estate (kura-yashiki) of the Lord of Sendai suffered damage. Isezaki-chō 1-chōme and 2-chōme burned. Nishi-Hirano-chō, Tomihisa-chō, and Sankaku-yashiki — all of these areas were completely destroyed. The various temples along Tera-machi-dōri suffered major damage. Reigan-ji, Jōshin-ji, and Unkō-in among others suffered major damage. The areas of Shōgaku-ji bridge road, Isshiki-chō, and Mannen-chō were completely destroyed. The area around Enma-dō bridge and Tsunauchiba sagged slightly. Saga-chō suffered great collapse. The fire spread through Aikawa-chō, Kumai-chō, Nakajima-chō, and as far as Ōshima-chō. Along Tomiyoshi-chō road and Kitagawa-chō, only three houses remained near Hachiman-bashi. Hamaguri-chō was only partially spared; Kuroe-chō and Sannen-ji burned. The fire stopped at the area from the gate-front of Eitai-ji and Yamamoto-chō to the edge of Gatakuri-bashi. In another outbreak, the fire burned in Wagura, destroying the proxy districts (daichi) of Kita-Honjo and Saga-chō. Eitai-ji and the Hachiman-gū shrine were unharmed, though there was damage within the shrine precincts. The Sanjūsangen-dō in the same area suffered major damage. Kiba suffered damage, and the Susaki Benten shrine was unharmed. From there, the Sunamura area suffered major damage. Collapsed buildings: 4,903; collapsed earthen storehouses: 785.

⑱ [Kita-Honjo]: Kita-Honjo Omote-chō suffered total collapse. Honkyū-ji and Asahi Shinmei-gū suffered damage. Saishō-ji, Jissō-ji, and Chōken-ji among others suffered major damage. Haraniwa-chō, Arai-chō, Bamba-chō, and Myōgen-ji suffered major damage. Ishihara-chō burned for approximately half a block. The general area suffered total collapse with many deaths. Across Azuma-bashi bridge, the residences of Lord Matsudaira Echizen-no-kami and Lord Hosokawa Noto-no-kami suffered major damage. Take-chō and Nakanogō Motomachi suffered major damage, and Hachiken-chō in the same area suffered total collapse. The samurai group residences (kumiyashiki) in Matsukura-chō and Ishihara Shin-chō were damaged. The area of Oshiage and Dote-dōri beyond Narihira-bashi suffered major damage. Daiunji and Saikyō-ji suffered major damage. There was much collapse in the areas of Reizan-ji and Hōon-ji, and the north side of the eastern end of Hōon-ji bridge suffered slight burning. About ten houses near the Honjo Itsutsu-me ferry crossing burned. Kameido Tenmangū suffered no particular damage. Two locations in Kameido-chō were burned. Kōzō-ji, Chōju-ji, the residence of Lord Tsugaru Etchū-no-kami, Ryūgan-ji, Yanagishima Hōshō-ji, and Myōken-gū among others suffered major damage. Koume-mura and Kawara-chō were burned. Near Makura-bashi in the same area, the ground subsided by approximately four shaku. Mimeguri Inari, Ushi-no-Gozen, and Kōfuku-ji among others suffered major damage. Chōmei-ji, Renge-ji, and Mokubō-ji among others suffered much collapse. Throughout the area, the embankments of the Sumida River cracked and split, with mud spouting forth from the ground.
