In the three districts of Yatsushiro, Amakusa, and Ashinokita, government buildings and over 290 chō of rice fields, over 470 villages of private houses, and over 1,500 people were swept away and drowned by water. Over 280 locations of mountains collapsed, and over 40 people died from being crushed. There was relief aid from the government. ○ In the same 17th year, on the 27th day of the 4th month, earthquakes continued from one night through two days and three nights. In Mino Province, watchtowers, storehouses, temples, and private houses collapsed.
