此星にあたりて生るゝ人は福禄（ふくろく）たもちか
たし又 謀望（はかりことのそみ）つゝけかたく大 凶（あしき）也しかれとも
身をつゝしみ心を正直（せうしき）にあらは福をた

【畢宿（つづき）】
この星のもとに生まれた人は、福禄を保つことが難しく、また謀望（はかりごとや望み）も続けることが難しく、大いに凶である。しかしながら、身を慎み、心を正直に保てば、福を保ち、災いを免れることができるだろう。
【觜宿（ししゅく）】
觜の三星が明るく大きければ、天下泰平にして五穀が豊かに実る。また、（星が）動いて明るい場合は、盗賊が群れをなして横行する。
この星のもとに生まれた人は、一生の間、住む場所が定まりにくく、老いてからは凶である。しかしながら、人を憐れみ、また人に逆らうことがなければ、心のままになるであろう。
【参宿（しんしゅく）】
参の十星は、忠良な臣下や孝行な子の象徴である。また、（星が）明るく大きければ、臣下には忠義があり、子には孝行があり、安らかで吉である。また、斬刈・殺伐（戦いや刑罰）を主る。
この星のもとに生まれた人は、一生を通じて福禄を保ち、しかも長寿にして、望んだことが心のままに解決（成就）するであろう。
【井宿（せいしゅく）】
井の八星は、南方第一の宿で、天の川の中に横一列に並ぶ。泉水を主る。また、蛍惑（火星）がこの星を犯せば、炎旱（激しい干ばつ）となる。
この星のもとに生まれた人は、妻子との縁が薄い生まれである。しかしながら、老年に至って諸事吉となる。
【鬼宿（きしゅく）】
鬼の五星は、天の目である。視ることを主り、謀（はかりごと）を明察する。（星が）明るければ五穀が豊かに実る。また、死亡・疾病を主る。

【Shen (参) Lunar Mansion】
The ten stars of Shen represent loyal ministers and filial children. When they are bright and large, ministers show loyalty and children show filial piety, and all is peaceful and auspicious. The constellation also governs matters of cutting, reaping, and armed conflict.
