人とあらそふる事にて禍（わさはひ）にかゝる事おほし
又 眷属（けんそく）につきて心労（しんらう）をする事あり
【星図】虚 虚￣ノ二星￣ハ主＿ニ風雲￣ヲ＿一主＿ニ死喪￣ヲ＿一也又此￣ノ星明￣ニシテ而
静￣ナレハ則天下安￣シ
此星にあたりて生るゝ人は福禄（ふくろく）うすし
又人に先たちてあらそふ時は災【左ルビ：さい】にあふ也

此星にあたりて生るゝ人は望事（のそみこと）遂（かなひ）かたし

二月三日の生（うま）れなれは年宿（ねんしゆく）は軫（しん）宿にあたる
也又十二月の月宿は觜（し）宿にあたる也又三日の
日宿は柳宿にあたる也 暦（こよみ）の其月〳〵の下に
何宿（なにしゆく）とあるは其月の星（ほし）の名也其下に何よう
とある上の一字はその朔日を主る星の名なり
年宿は当巳己年の軫宿より右の二十八宿を
次第（したい）にかそへれは何の年は何の星にあたると
いふ事しれる也 古暦便覧（これきへんらん）にて尋（たつぬ）へし

人と争うことによって災難にかかることが多い。
また、親族・家族に関して心労することがある。
【星図】虚 虚の二星は風雲を主り、死喪を主る。またこの星が明るく静かであれば、天下は安泰である。
この星にあたって生まれた人は福禄が薄い。
また人より先に立って争う時は、災いにあう。
【星図】危 危の三星は、死喪・呪泣を主る。
この星にあたって生まれた人は、望むことが叶いがたい。
たまたま吉事があっても凶に変じやすい。
また、貧しくなければ禍が多く、福とは縁遠い生まれである。
自分自身を卑しめること（自浸）は良くない。
〇以上、二十八宿の当てはめ方について説明する。たとえば、寛延二年己年十二月三日生まれであれば、年宿は軫宿にあたる。また十二月の月宿は觜宿にあたる。また三日の日宿は柳宿にあたる。暦のその月々の下に「何宿」とあるのは、その月の星の名である。その下に「何曜」とある上の一字は、その朔日を主る星の名である。年宿は当該己年の軫宿より右の二十八宿を順番に数えれば、何の年は何の星にあたるかということがわかる。『古暦便覧』にて調べるべし。

People born under this star often encounter misfortune through disputes and quarrels with others.
They also tend to suffer much mental strain on account of their relatives and family members.
[Star Chart] Xu (虚, Emptiness) The two stars of Xu govern wind and clouds, and also govern death and mourning. When these stars are bright and calm, the realm is at peace.
People born under this star have thin fortune and few blessings.
When they take the lead in quarreling with others, they will encounter disaster.
[Star Chart] Wei (危, Rooftop) The three stars of Wei govern death, mourning, lamentation, and weeping.
People born under this star find it difficult to achieve what they desire.
Even when fortunate events occur by chance, they tend to turn to misfortune easily.
Unless they are poor, disasters are many, and they are born far from good fortune.
It is harmful to demean or debase oneself.
〇The following explains how to apply the above twenty-eight lunar mansions. For example, if a person was born on the 3rd day of the 12th month in the 2nd year of Kan'en (1749), the year mansion would correspond to Zhen (軫). The month mansion for the 12th month would correspond to Zi (觜). The day mansion for the 3rd day would correspond to Liu (柳). What is written as "such-and-such mansion" beneath each month in the almanac is the name of the star for that month. The first character written as "such-and-such day" beneath that refers to the name of the star governing the first day (new moon day) of that month. By counting through the twenty-eight mansions in order starting from the Zhen mansion of the said Year of the己 (Earth Snake), one can determine which star corresponds to which year.
