にても無之村々安堵いたし候此川上山中地京原と申所
藤沢組拾八軒家数有之候残家四間人数八十四人死梅木
村城腰と申所四間皆潰人数廿八人死此所一人も不残大田組

丹波嶋船渡シ川上更級郡水内郡両境水内橋之近
辺赤岩村と申所山抜数十丈之深谷を押埋又其外安庭
村と申村にて二ヶ所山抜谷を埋急流を関留数日水湛るゆへ
新町村穂苅村牧之嶋村始メ数十ヶ村水中に埋民家うかみ

裾花川上流の鬼無里村の内、川浦と申す所では、二十四日の地震により山が崩れ、水がせき止められていたが、その場所が一気に押し切られ、流水が急に増して流れ出た。しかし格別の大水というほどでもなく、村々は安堵した。この川の上流、山中の地で京原と申す所では、藤沢組に十八軒の家数があったが、残った家は四軒、死者八十四人。梅木村城腰と申す所では四軒が全て潰れ、死者二十八人。この所では一人も残らず亡くなった。大田組は九軒あったが、一軒も残らず、死者五十三人のほか、身元不明の死者も多く、村中でただ一人だけが生き残った。折村荒井組は家数十三軒、人数五十七人いたが、一人も残らなかった。念仏寺村臥雲院は、これは御領分内でも

犀川満水之事（犀川が氾濫したことについて）
丹波島の渡し場より川上、更級郡・水内郡の両郡の境にある水内橋の近辺、赤岩村と申す所では、山が崩れ落ちて数十丈の深さの谷を押し埋めた。またその他に、安庭村と申す村では二ヶ所で山崩れがあって谷を埋め、急流をせき止めたため、数日間水がたまり続けた。そのため新町村・穂苅村・牧之嶋村をはじめとする数十ヶ村が水中に沈み、民家は浮かび（続く）。

In the upper reaches of the Susobana River, at a place called Kawaura within Kinasa village, a mountain had collapsed due to the earthquake of the twenty-fourth day, damming the water — but when this dam was suddenly breached all at once, the water level surged and rushed out. However, it did not amount to an especially severe flood, and the villages were greatly relieved. Further upstream in the mountains, at a place called Kyōhara, the Fujisawa-gumi had eighteen households, of which only four remained standing; eighty-four people perished. At a place called Shirokoshi in Umegi village, all four houses were completely destroyed, and twenty-eight people died — not a single person in that place survived. Ōta-gumi had nine houses, of which not one remained; fifty-three people died, and in addition many unidentified persons also perished — only a single person in the entire village survived. Ori village, Arai-gumi, had thirteen houses and fifty-seven inhabitants, of whom not one survived. Nenbutsuji village's Gaunin — a rare and great temple within the domain —
fell into the valley, and after catching fire was buried under the earth. The vicinity of this village was entirely destroyed and buried under the earth as well. There are a great many such places in the mountains as noted hereafter, but they cannot all be recorded in detail.
On the Flooding of the Sai River
Upstream from the Tabashima ferry crossing, near the boundary between Sarashina District and Minochi District, near Minochi Bridge, at a place called Akaiwa village, a mountain collapsed and buried a valley dozens of jō deep. Furthermore, at a village called Yashiro village, mountain collapses occurred at two locations, filling the valleys and blocking the swift current; the water accumulated for several days.
