一、同六酉年（1777年）正月、願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられた事。
一、天明三卯年（1783年）十二月、七十七歳にて病死。法名、喜休院忠山道節居士。葬所は同上（前記に同じ）。

1. In the 8th month of the same 3rd year, Year of the Horse (1774): He was praised and commended for having applied himself diligently in attending to construction works (*go-fushin tachiai*) during his previous tour of guard duty.
1. In the 1st month of the same 6th year, Year of the Rooster (1777): He was granted permission to retire (*inkyo*) as he had requested.
1. In the 12th month of the 3rd year of Tenmei, Year of the Rabbit (1783): He died of illness at the age of seventy-seven. His posthumous Buddhist name (*hōmyō*) was Kikyūin Chūzan Dōsetsu Koji. His place of burial is the same as previously recorded.
