一、朝飯後、総代として功久・季栄が出頭した。趣旨は昨夜片岡社の正遷宮が滞りなく済んだことの御届け・御礼のためで、御伝奏・御奉行並びに両御奉行所・御普請掛り等へ出頭したことである。ただし所司代組から警固役人が派遣されたため、両御奉行所において御礼を申し上げたことである。

1. After the morning meal, Norihisa and Suehide went as representatives. The purpose was to report and express gratitude that the formal relocation of Kataoka Shrine was completed without incident the previous night, visiting the imperial messenger, the supervisor, both magistrate offices, and construction officials. However, since security personnel were dispatched from the Deputy Shogun's office, gratitude was expressed at both magistrate offices.
