寛保仕様帳 硎（トキ）直シと有之処此度御断被申入可然旨被申入候事
評ニ先達而右之儀東御役所へ被申上候様ニ被存候旨被申仁有之ニ付
尚其時分御日次可吟味可然旨ニ付則吟味之処安永四年八月
十六日奥社御太刀一式新調之旨東御役所へ御断書差上被置
旨相見へ候ニ付今日貴布祢御神宝御見分之節為念御断被申
入弥新調被仰付被下候様被願可然旨ニ決
一午刻後於御籍屋貴布祢端社御内陣神宝見分此序
奥社御太刀之事評決之通り棟梁迄被申入処五市郎被申は
新調之積りニ有之旨ニ付別ニ役人へ被頼候ニ不及候事

現代語訳
寛保仕様帳には「硎（とき）直し」とあるところ、今回はお断りを申し入れるのが適当である旨を申し入れられた件について。
評議において、先日右の件について東御役所へ申し上げられた様子であると存じられる旨を申された方がいらっしゃったため、なおその時分の御日次を吟味するのが適当である旨により、則ち吟味したところ、安永四年八月十六日に奥社御太刀一式新調の旨を東御役所へお断り書を差し上げ置かれた旨が見受けられたため、今日貴布祢御神宝御見分の節に念のためお断りを申し入れ、いよいよ新調を仰せ付けていただけるよう願い出るのが適当である旨に決定した。
一、午刻後、御籍屋において貴布祢端社御内陣神宝見分、この序に奥社御太刀の件について評決の通り棟梁まで申し入れたところ、五市郎が申すには新調の積もりであった旨により、別に役人へ頼まれるには及ばない件。
一、神服方より貴布祢端社御神服丈尺書付が遣わされた。

Regarding the matter that the Kanpō specifications record states "togi repair," but this time it would be appropriate to submit a request for exemption.
In the deliberation, since there was someone who stated that they believed the aforementioned matter had been reported to the Eastern Office previously, it was deemed appropriate to examine the daily records from that time. Upon examination, it was found that on August 16, Anei 4 (1775), a notification document had been submitted to the Eastern Office regarding the complete renewal of the inner shrine sword. Therefore, it was decided that it would be appropriate to submit a notification as a precaution during today's inspection of the Kibune shrine treasures and request that the complete renewal be ordered.
One item: After the noon hour, at the record house, inspection of the shrine treasures of Kibune Tansha inner sanctuary was conducted. On this occasion, regarding the matter of the inner shrine sword, when the decision was conveyed to the master carpenter, Goichirō stated that it was intended to be newly made, so there was no need to separately request assistance from officials.
One item: A document with measurements for the sacred garments of Kibune Tansha was sent from the Sacred Garments Department.
