右之趣承り御伝奏へ参上此段届申上此序兼茂心得ニ而
雑掌中迄申入被置は於貴布祢は井籠之外御酒は進不申
段諸司へ御出逢之節御申入置可被下候心得ニも相成候哉と申入被置
旨也
一右了而兼茂壱人西御役所へ参上之処真野八郎兵衛出逢被申渡は
貴布祢御遷宮之節 勅使御通り筋橋々危キ所見繕等可致段
従御所被仰付ニ付則御道筋村々役人召寄せ於御役所被仰付
庄屋年寄請印被仰付候尤賀茂は於賀茂取計候故申渡ニ
不及旨従 御所表被仰渡ニ付請印無之候右為念申入候間
若村々之内洩候方無之哉一覧可致旨也則一覧之処洩候方
無御座候旨賀茂之儀は先達而ゟ申付置候旨被答候事次今日
於御奉行日野西弁殿被仰渡参向之名前御届書被差出則

現代語訳
右の趣旨を承り、御伝奏へ参上してこの段をお届け申し上げた。この序でに兼茂の心得として、雑掌中まで申し入れておくことは、貴船においては井籠の外では御酒は進上申し上げない段について、諸司へのお出会いの節にお申し入れおき下さるべき候との心得にも相成るだろうかと申し入れておいた旨である。
一、右が済んで兼茂一人が西御役所へ参上したところ、真野八郎兵衛が出会い申し渡されたのは、貴船御遷宮の節、勅使の御通り筋の橋々の危険な所の見繕い等を致すべき段を、御所から仰せ付けられたため、則ち御道筋の村々の役人を召し寄せて御役所において仰せ付けられ、庄屋・年寄の請印を仰せ付けられた。もっとも賀茂については賀茂において取り計らうため申し渡しには及ばない旨を御所表から仰せ渡されたため請印は無い。右について念のため申し入れるが、もし村々の内に洩れている方は無いだろうか、一覧致すべき旨である。則ち一覧したところ洩れている方は御座無い旨、賀茂の儀は先達てから申し付けおいた旨をお答えになった事。
次に今日、御奉行日野西弁殿において仰せ渡された参向の名前の御届書を差し出され、則ち八郎兵衛が落手した。

Having received the above instructions, [the official] proceeded to the Imperial Messenger and reported this matter. As an additional matter for Kanemochi's understanding, what was conveyed to the various stewards was that at Kibune, sake would not be offered outside of the well enclosure, and this should be mentioned when meeting with various government offices - this would also serve as proper guidance.
1. After completing the above, Kanemochi alone proceeded to the Western Government Office, where Mano Hachirobei met with him and conveyed the following: Regarding the Kibune shrine relocation, the Imperial Palace has ordered that dangerous spots along the bridges on the Imperial Messenger's route be inspected and repaired. Therefore, village officials along the route were summoned to the government office and given orders, with village headmen and elders required to provide written acknowledgments. However, for Kamo, since Kamo handles its own arrangements, no notification was necessary, as conveyed from the Imperial Palace, so no written acknowledgment was required. As a precaution regarding this matter, [he asked] whether any villages might have been overlooked and requested a review. Upon review, it was confirmed that no villages had been overlooked, and it was answered that arrangements for Kamo had been made previously.
Next, today at Magistrate Hinozai Ben's office, a notification document regarding the list of participants was presented and received by Hachirobei.
Notification Submission Statement
Regarding the formal relocation of Kibune Shrine, a subsidiary shrine of Upper Kamo, on September 2nd, it has been announced that Imperial Messenger Kushige Dainagon and Superintendent Hinozai Gon-Sa-Shōben will participate. This was conveyed today by Magistrate Hinozai Ben. Therefore, we submit this notification. End.

September 2nd: Regarding the departure of Imperial Messenger Kushige Dainagon and Superintendent Hinozai Gon-Sa-Shōben, upon inquiry, it was learned that they would depart from their residence around 4:30. Given this timing, we believe they would arrive at Kibune around 8:30. End.
