The boxes were carried and placed at the northeast corner of the worship hall 1. Before the Controller's visit, the Head Priest, both officials, Senior Priest Ota, rotating attendants, etc. formed two rows west of the lower guard station, facing south with senior positions to the east. They bowed once toward the senior Controller, and the shrine officials returned the bow. After proceeding to the curtained enclosure, the Head Priest and others dismissed their attendants and took seats before the shrine. The musicians set up circular seats in the front courtyard, facing east with senior positions to the north, with rotating attendants positioned behind them. 1. The Water Bureau set up ritual hand-washing water on the south side of the stone platform, awaiting the visit of the imperial envoy Controller. 1. At the first quarter of the hour of the Rooster, the Controller proceeded from the rest station and took his seat in the curtained enclosure. The scribes and others did the same as before. During both the arrival and departure of the imperial envoy, Controller, etc., attendants cleared the way, especially from the courtyard of the rest station to below the stone platform. Next, the shrine relocation ceremony began. Abbreviated Procedures for the Formal Relocation of Kibune Inner Subsidiary Shrine First, one shrine official including the Head Priest, Kibune Shrine priest, and ritual officiant, along with five clan members, conducted a seven-day retreat at the shrine. The day before, the Imperial Carpentry Bureau constructed temporary curtained enclosures in the shrine courtyard (east of the worship hall). The same day, the Yin-Yang Master performed purification rituals. On the day itself, morning offerings were presented (served by priests and ritual officiants), and court musicians played music. The same day, shrine officials and clan members proceeded to decorate the inner and outer chambers of the main hall (shrine officials in court dress, clan members in pure white robes). Next, the imperial envoy and others proceeded to the rest pavilion and waited. During this time, the Imperial Carpentry Bureau hung large curtains, the Palace Interior Bureau hung striped curtains, and the Palace Maintenance Bureau laid out mat pathways and cloth spreads. Before the appointed time, the Head Priest and other shrine officials and clan members proceeded to the shrine. Next, the Secretary and Scribe handed the imperial decree to the priest in the shrine courtyard, who received and presented it before the shrine. Next, shrine attendants were made to urge the Controller and various bureaus to proceed (three times). Next, the Controller proceeded to the shrine.
