The ceremony followed the annual custom, with the chief priest obtaining the imperial will from the shrine officials at the administrative building seat. The content was as follows: Tomorrow, after the divine offerings for the Choyo festival are removed, the replacement sacred vestments should be enshrined in the new hall, and since there is currently retreat at the samurai quarters, tomorrow earth-colored garments would be appropriate. Everyone acknowledged this. At this time, the officials of both Shingu shrines and Ota celebrants were not present, so they should receive these instructions tomorrow. 1. After the hour of saru, light rain fell, so temporary roofing was erected by the repair office along the procession route for both shrines' divine parades. 1. The formal relocation of Wakamiya began after the hour of tori and was completed in the early part of inu hour. Nara Shrine began at the hour of inu and was completed without incident around the middle of i hour. All aspects were the same as Shingu Ota, so the details are omitted. Those in attendance were: Chief Priest Hirohisa, Wakamiya Negi Motoyasu and Celebrant Sueta, Nara Negi Kenshō and Celebrant Ujio (each in sokutai court dress), Rotating Suppliers Bunko Seiман (each in pure white robes and sashimuki), Yin-Yang Diviner Yoruaki (in court cap and robe), Superintendent Kaneyasu, Deputy Administrator Yasuhiro, Deputy Representative Kanetate (each in pure white robes as attendants), Taguchi Master Carpenter, and sword-bearing shrine attendant Matsu with ceremonial officials. Those participating at will were: Chief Negi Naruhisa and Celebrant Shigeuе, Former Chief Priest Yasutoshi, Shingu Negi Yasumune, Ota Negi Yasudo, Sawada Negi Kanetame and Celebrant Jūtoshi, Ujigami Negi Kaneyasu and Celebrant Hisayasu. 1. The divine relocation of Wakamiya Nara Shrine was completed in the early part of i hour. Immediately, a messenger (assistant official) was dispatched with a report to the Imperial Messenger and Magistrate, and subsequently Kanemochi alone went as representative to deliver the notification to both noble houses (the document shows only the shrine name change as seen in the 5th day section). He returned home after the hour of ne. 1. At the same hour, the feast gathering and subsequent activities concluded, and the chief administrators withdrew. 1. Tonight after Wakamiya's relocation, the temporary hall's inner sanctuary was dismantled and the sacred treasures were stored in the treasure house. The Nara Shrine items were placed in Kifune lacquered boxes at the feast hall. 1. Five fire watchers were assigned to the Misorogi Pond farmers until the relocation was completed. 9th day (Kanoto-hitsuji) Light rain in the morning, clear after the hour of uma 1. The Choyo festival proceeded as usual (but with earth-colored garments). As instructed yesterday at the administrative building.
