夫ゟ西御役所へ参上関東御礼窺書并来十八日御祝儀
能定日御届書差出候処七加家郡蔵出逢奥え持被入良久
敷メ被出被申候は能御届書は御月番東へ可差上御聞済候はヽ
西え可差出旨ニ而御届書被差返且関東御礼窺之儀文面ニ
霜月十日頃発足被致度旨相見へ候御所司京都ニ被為入
候得は霜月十日頃発足も可相成候へ共御所司此節御在府
ニ付右之趣江戸へ窺候上御聞届之段京都へ申来り候上又
寺社御奉行へ窺寺社御奉行ゟ勝手ニ出府可致旨御下
知有之上京都御役所ゟ御添翰出候得は日数甚掛り候
左候得は中々来月十日頃発足成ル間敷候間今壱応
得と相談之上日限書替可申出旨尤下鴨ゟ被窺候は
其趣可被入旨ニ而窺書并例書共被差返之夫ゟ東へ
参上目付方へ申入処西尾新大郎出逢ニ付祝儀能定日御届

酉の刻半刻頃、惣代業久兼が帰郷のため、役人方それぞれへ祝儀を持参したところ、皆留守のため取次まで申し置いた。中井主水には在宅で、白銀三枚は返却し神服は受納する旨を取次を通じて申し出られたので、受納していただくよう再度申し入れたところ、預かり置いて後から返答申し聞かせる旨であった。
それから西の御役所へ参上し、関東御礼窺書並びに来る十八日御祝儀能定日御届書を差し出したところ、七加家郡蔵が出てきて奥へ持って入り、しばらくして出てきて申されるには、能の御届書は御月番の東へ差し上げ、御聞き済みになれば西へ差し出すべき旨であるとして、御届書を差し返された。また関東御礼窺いの件について、文面に霜月十日頃出発したい旨が見受けられるが、御所司が京都にいらっしゃる場合は霜月十日頃の出発も可能であるが、御所司がこの節江戸に在府しているため、右の趣を江戸へ窺った上で御聞き届けの段を京都へ申し送り、その上でまた寺社御奉行へ窺い、寺社御奉行から勝手に出府すべき旨の御下知があった上で京都御役所から御添翰が出れば、日数が非常にかかる。そうすれば到底来月十日頃の出発は無理であるから、今一度よく相談の上、日限を書き替えて申し出るべき旨、もっとも下鴨から窺われる場合はその趣を入れるべき旨であるとして、窺書並びに例書共に差し返された。それから東へ参上し目付方へ申し入れたところ、西尾新大郎が出てきて祝儀能定日御届についてー

Around half past the Hour of the Rooster, the representative Gyōkyūken, returning to his home province, brought ceremonial gifts to each of the officials, but since they were all absent, he left messages with their attendants. Nakai Mondo was at home, and through an attendant he indicated that the three pieces of white silver would be returned and the sacred garments accepted. When we again requested that he accept them, he said he would keep them for now and give a reply later.
Then we went to the Western Office and submitted the petition for courtesy visit to Kantō and the notification for the celebratory nō performance scheduled for the 18th. Shichikaya Gunzō came out and took them inside, and after a while came out and said that the nō performance notification should be submitted to the Eastern monthly duty office first, and if approved there, then submitted to the West, and so he returned our notification. Regarding the petition for the courtesy visit to Kantō, the document indicated a desire to depart around the 10th of the 11th month, but while this would be possible if the Administrator were in Kyoto, since the Administrator is currently in residence in Edo, it would be necessary to first petition Edo regarding this matter, then send notification of approval to Kyoto, then petition the Temples and Shrines Magistrate, and after receiving orders from the Temples and Shrines Magistrate to proceed to Edo at will, and after receiving a letter of introduction from the Kyoto office, this would take an enormous amount of time. In that case, departure around the 10th of next month would be quite impossible, so we should consult once more and resubmit with a revised date.
