不仕且又右相撲ニ事寄博奕諸勝負一切為致申間

等は一切不仕候右諸雑用之儀若及出入願出候共御取上ケ無之旨

一、百姓たちが願い出た相撲の件について許可が出たので、後証文を御役所へ差し上げる控え
差し上げる一札
当社の御造営が滞りなくお済みになり、ありがたく存じます。これにより冥加として馬場表において
寄相撲を一日興行したい旨、境内の百姓たちがお願い申し上げたところ、
願い通りお許しいただき、ありがたく存じます。そうである以上は、できる限り大がかりにせず、喧嘩や
口論等が起こらないようにいたします。もちろん小屋掛けは一切
いたしません。また右の相撲に事寄せて博打や諸勝負は一切いたしません
という旨をお申し渡しいただき、畏れ入ります。もちろん見物の人からは一銭も取りません。
なお一社からもきっと申し付けて、その日のうちに終わらせます。後日のため
よって書面の如し

件をきっと守り、火の用心に念を入れます。また右の場所において
博打・勝負は申すに及ばず、遊び人のような者は堅く近づけません。もちろん小屋掛け
等は一切いたしません。右の諸雑用の件でもし争いが生じて願い出ても、お取り上げなしとの
旨をお申し渡しいただき、畏れ入ります。右の日限が済みましたら早速お届け申し上げます。右の趣旨に背き
ましたら、この判を押した者どもをどのようにでもお申し付けください。後日のため差し上げる一札、書面の如し

One: Record of the follow-up document submitted to the government office regarding the sumo petition by the farmers that was granted permission
Document submitted
The reconstruction of our shrine has been completed without delay, for which we are grateful. As an offering of gratitude at Baba-omote,
the farmers of the precinct petitioned to hold a one-day charity sumo tournament,
and we are grateful that permission was granted as requested. Given this, we will ensure it is not elaborate and that no fights or
arguments occur. Of course, we will not erect any temporary structures.
Also, we will not use this sumo event as a pretext for gambling or any competitions,
as instructed, and we humbly comply. Of course, we will not charge spectators even one mon.
Furthermore, the shrine will strictly enforce that it be finished within the day. For future reference,
therefore as written.

One: The farmers of Kami-Kamo Shrine's horse ground have agreed to hold a charity sumo tournament
on one clear day between the coming 26th and 28th days, and we are grateful
that permission has been granted. Given this, we will strictly observe the prohibitions
that have been issued from before and will be careful about fire prevention. Also, at the said location,
not only gambling and competitions but also dissolute persons will be strictly excluded. Of course, temporary structures
will not be erected at all. Regarding miscellaneous expenses for this event, even if disputes arise and petitions are made, they will not be taken up,
as instructed, and we humbly comply. When the designated period ends, we will promptly report. If we violate these conditions,
those who have affixed their seals may be punished in any manner. This document is submitted for future reference, as written.
