編物壱連《割書：干物二十》被下之申半刻過相撲無事ニ相済候事
一聖神寺之上社中桟敷之南ニ床四脚よしかこひ右は
御役所筋ゟ役人中入来可有之哉と百姓共ゟ用意ニ設置

一今日、馬場表において百姓たちが奉納の寄相撲を催したので、
聖神寺の上道から西方で、社家中の場所に桟敷二十脚を
相撲催行者が掛けた。また百姓たちが相撲を催したので、一社中から酒一斗
編物一連（干物二十）を下し与えた。半刻過ぎに相撲が無事に済んだ。
一聖神寺の上、社中桟敷の南に床四脚とよしがこいを設置した。これは
御役所筋から役人中が入来するかもしれないと、百姓たちが用意として設置した
もの。

一昨日百姓たちが願い出た相撲が無事に済んだので、朝飯後、東
御役所へ総代として兼茂一人が出頭し、届書を持参した。その控え

One: Today, the farmers held a charity sumo tournament dedicated at Baba-omote, so
twenty sajiki (viewing stands) were set up by the sumo organizers in the shrine families' area west of the upper road of Seishin-ji Temple. Also, since the farmers were holding sumo, the shrine provided one to (about 18 liters) of sake
and one set of woven goods (twenty dried foods items). The sumo concluded safely after half an hour.
One: Four raised platforms and yoshigakoi were set up south of the shrine families' sajiki above Seishin-ji Temple. This was
prepared by the farmers in case officials from the government office might come to observe.
