 正観音神宮寺十一面観音と申答候事  廿四日《割書:乙| 酉》曇  一昨夜西公事方ゟ今日五ツ時一社惣代供僧惣代可出   旨申来ニ付惣代功久兼茂供僧惣代千手院豊光院   出頭未刻過帰郷演説云各西役所へ参処公事方中井孫助   出逢先達而被願候両寺開帳願之通被仰付候旨被申   渡承知仕右ニ付先格之通所々え建札被致度旨   供僧ゟ被申入処書付出候様被申付ニ付惣代ゟ先年も   一通り御届申相建候間先格之通御聞届被下候様致度   旨申入処仰山成札ニても有間敷候間勝手ニ可建猶可申   達置旨也夫ゟ於御玄関取次え御礼申述夫ゟ中井   孫助宅へ一礼申述東御玄関取次え先達而相願候両寺   開帳西御役所へ願置候処御免之旨被仰渡候仍右御礼   申上夫ゟ公事方へ申込加納小十郎出逢開帳御礼   申入建札御届申上処承知也夫ゟ伝奏御奉行え両寺   開帳供僧相願先達而願遣候処今日御免之旨被申渡候   仍御届申上帰郷云々  廿六日《割書:丁| 亥》晴 一入夜方内ゟ明廿七日五ツ半時西御役所へ目附方ゟ御召之旨  切紙到来ニ付惣代中へ及案内候事  廿七日《割書:戊| 子》晴 一早朝西御役所へ惣代息久季栄出頭之事 一式日寄会会所兼古披露之内  一廿四日供僧惣代千手院豊光院開帳相済候御礼

現代語訳

正観音、神宮寺十一面観音と申し答えたこと 二十四日(乙酉)曇り 一昨夜西公事方から今日五つ時に一社惣代・供僧惣代が出頭すべき  旨申し来たので、惣代功久兼茂・供僧惣代千手院・豊光院が  出頭し、未の刻過ぎに帰郷。説明によると、各々西役所へ参ったところ公事方中井孫助が  出てきて、先達て願い出た両寺開帳願いの通り仰せ付けられた旨を申し  渡され承知した。これについて先例の通り所々へ建札をしたい旨を  供僧から申し入れたところ、書付を出すよう申し付けられたので、惣代から先年も  一通り御届け申し上げて建てたので、先例の通りお聞き届け下さるよう致したい  旨申し入れたところ、仰々しい札でもあるまいので勝手に建ててよい、なお申し  達しておく旨である。それから御玄関で取次ぎに御礼を申し述べ、それから中井  孫助宅へ一礼を申し述べ、東御玄関取次ぎに、先達て相願った両寺  開帳を西御役所へ願い置いたところ御免の旨を仰せ渡された、よって右の御礼を  申し上げ、それから公事方へ申し込み加納小十郎が出てきて開帳の御礼を  申し入れ建札の御届けを申し上げたところ承知された。それから伝奏御奉行へ両寺  開帳を供僧が相願い先達て願い遣わしたところ、今日御免の旨を申し渡された  よって御届けを申し上げ帰郷等々 二十六日(丁亥)晴れ 一入夜方、内から明日二十七日五つ半時に西御役所へ目付方から御召しの旨の  切紙が到来したので、惣代中へ案内したこと 二十七日(戊子)晴れ 一早朝西御役所へ惣代息久季栄が出頭したこと 一式日寄会、会所兼古披露の内  一二十四日供僧惣代千手院・豊光院開帳が済んだ御礼

Answered that it was Shō Kannon and Jinguji Eleven-faced Kannon 24th day (Kinoto-Tori) Cloudy The night before last, word came from the Western Public Affairs Office that today at the hour of the Horse, the shrine representative and monk representative should appear  So representative Kōkyū Kaneshige and monk representatives Senjuin and Hōkōin  appeared and returned home after the hour of the Sheep. According to their explanation, when each went to the Western Office, public affairs officer Nakai Magosuke  appeared and informed them that the petition for both temples' exhibitions previously submitted had been approved as requested, which was  acknowledged. Regarding this, when the monks requested to erect signboards at various places according to precedent,  they were ordered to submit a written document, so the representative stated that in previous years  they had properly notified and erected them, so they wished to have it approved according to precedent  When this was requested, it was said that they wouldn't be ostentatious signs anyway, so they could erect them freely, and this would be  communicated further. Then at the entrance hall, thanks were expressed to the attendant, then  courtesy was paid at Nakai Magosuke's residence, and to the Eastern entrance hall attendant regarding the both temples previously requested  When the exhibition was petitioned to the Western Office, permission was granted, so thanks for this were  expressed, then application was made to the public affairs office where Kanō Kojūrō appeared and thanks for the exhibition were  expressed and notification of signboard erection was submitted, which was acknowledged. Then to the Imperial Messenger Magistrate, when the monks  petitioned for both temples' exhibitions and submitted the request previously, today permission was granted  So notification was submitted and they returned home, etc. 26th day (Hinoto-I) Clear One: In the evening, a notice arrived from inside that tomorrow the 27th at half past the hour of the Horse, there was a summons from the inspector's office to the Western Office  So notification was given to the representatives 27th day (Tsuchinoe-Ne) Clear One: Early morning, representative Ikyū Kiei appeared at the Western Office One: Regular day meeting, among the announcements at the meeting place Kaneko  One: On the 24th, monk representatives Senjuin and Hōkōin gave thanks for the completion of the exhibition arrangements
