一入夜小寄会有之来ル四日木作始刻限巳刻ニ治定之

一今日ゟ正殿影狛絵師狩野蔵之丞相認ニ付本宮片岡
社へ神酒献進之事
一今日御普請方役人中当地共引払ニ付人足馬等可出旨
申来ニ付一社ゟ被申付事
一前田忠次郎ゟ招ニ付雑掌季栄壱人被行向処前田被申は
山村信濃守殿始伊藤松村前田真野同心棟梁迄寄
宿之分一社中へ被相戻候且御普請小屋之跡堀候分は
請負ゟ如元埋メ候様申渡置候并信濃守殿御家来始寄
宿之銘々買掛り有無吟味之上近日書付可差出旨被申
渡候由也
一吉浜佐七郎今井勘介松村重左衛門倉橋定之丞ゟ賀茂貴
布祢為宿料金弐百疋棟梁岡嶋角井ゟ賀茂貴布祢為宿
料金百疋一社へ被渡候事
一式日参会会所兼古披露之内
一廿七日大工共上棟之節弓矢供物等之儀支配方御書渡
被下難有御礼申上候事
一廿八日大工共御上棟無滞相済候御礼恐悦申上候事

現代語訳
一、申刻頃、総代として業久・兼為両人が御普請方寄宿所へ行き、普請中長い間御苦労の段について、一社中より挨拶を申し入れる旨を申し入れた事。
一、入夜、小寄会があり、来る四日の木作始の刻限を巳刻に決定した事。
二日(乙丑)晴
一、今日より正殿の蔭狛を絵師狩野蔵之丞が描くにつき、本宮・片岡社へ神酒を献進した事。
一、今日御普請方役人中が当地とも引き払うにつき、人足・馬等を出すべき旨申し来たので、一社より申し付けた事。
一、前田忠次郎より招きがあったので雑掌季栄一人を向かわせたところ、前田が申すには、山村信濃守殿始め伊藤・松村・前田・真野・同心・棟梁まで寄宿の分を一社中へ返却する、且つ御普請小屋の跡を掘った分は請負より元の通り埋めるよう申し渡し置いた、並びに信濃守殿御家来始め寄宿の銘々の買掛かりの有無を吟味の上、近日書付を差し出すべき旨申し渡したとの事。
一、吉浜佐七郎・今井勘介・松村重左衛門・倉橋定之丞より賀茂貴布祢の宿料として金二百疋、棟梁岡嶋角井より賀茂貴布祢の宿料として金百疋を一社へ渡された事。
一、式日参会、会所兼古披露の内
一、廿七日大工共上棟の節、弓矢・供物等の儀について支配方より御書を渡し下され、有り難く御礼申し上げた事
一、廿八日大工共御上棟を滞りなく相済み候御礼、恐悦申し上げた事
一、松行事より上棟の御祝儀を頂戴し、御礼申し上げた事

1. Around the hour of the Monkey (3-5 PM), Gyōkyū and Kanetame went as representatives to the construction office lodging quarters to convey greetings from the entire shrine expressing gratitude for their long and arduous work during the construction period.
1. In the evening, there was a small gathering meeting where it was decided that the wood-working ceremony (mokusaku-hajime) on the coming 4th day would begin at the hour of the Snake (9-11 AM).
2nd day (Kinoto-ushi) Clear weather
1. From today, the painter Kanō Kuranosuke began painting the guardian lion-dogs (komainu) in the shadow areas of the main hall, so sacred sake was offered to the main shrine and Kataoka shrine.
1. Today the construction office officials are withdrawing from this area along with everyone else, so they requested that laborers and horses be provided, which the shrine arranged.
1. Since there was a summons from Maeda Chūjirō, one temple servant, Kiē, was sent. Maeda reported that lodging fees from Yamamura Shinano-no-kami and others including Itō, Matsumura, Maeda, Mano, attendants, and master carpenters would be returned to the shrine. Additionally, it was ordered that contractors should fill in the areas that were dug for the construction huts as they were before. Furthermore, it was ordered that after examining whether Shinano-no-kami's retainers and other lodgers had any outstanding debts, a written report should be submitted in the near future.
1. From Yoshihama Sashichirō, Imai Kansuke, Matsumura Jūzaemon, and Kurahashi Sadanosuke, 200 hiki of gold was given to the shrine as lodging fees for Kamo Kifune. From master carpenter Okajima Tsunoi, 100 hiki of gold was given to the shrine as lodging fees for Kamo Kifune.
1. Regular day assembly meeting, including announcements from meeting place manager Kaneko:
- On the 27th day, regarding the arrows and offerings for the carpenters' roof-raising ceremony, written instructions were graciously provided by the administration, for which grateful thanks were expressed.
- On the 28th day, grateful and joyful thanks were expressed for the successful completion of the carpenters' roof-raising ceremony without incident.
- Grateful thanks were expressed for receiving congratulatory gifts for the roof-raising from Matsu-gyōji.
