一、未刻頃、御奉行日野西弁殿より召状が到来し、只今早々非蔵人口へ総代が参るべき旨であった。即刻、総代として息久・兼茂が出頭し、半刻過ぎて帰郷した。
演説によると、非蔵人口において弁殿と御対面し、仰せられたのは「正遷宮はいつ頃執行するのか」と御心得について御尋ねになった旨である。総代が御答えしたのは「御神宝類でまだ出来ていない品もございますので、日限の儀はまだ未定でございます」と申し上げたところ、また仰せになったのは「なお凡そでも分かるならば、日限の書付を明日九ッ時までに弁殿邸まで持参せよ」との旨である。総代が申し上げたのは「委細承知いたしました。只今の仰せの趣を御伝奏へも御届け申し上げるべきでしょうか」と伺ったところ、「委細申し上げるには及びませんが、右申し渡した旨を御届け申し上げるのが宜しい」との旨により、御伝奏へも御届けして帰郷した云々
一、右について、掛りの者たちが相談の上、八月中旬より同下旬までの内に本宮正遷宮、八月下旬より九月下旬までの内に摂社・末社正遷宮を執行すべきと存じます旨を申し上げるのが宜しい旨にて、則ち書付が出来上がり、明朝飯後に総代が持参する旨の事

1. Around the hour of the Sheep (around 2 PM), a summons arrived from Magistrate Hinnonishi Ben-dono, stating that representatives should come immediately to the Hi-kurōdo entrance. Representatives Ikikyū and Kaneshige immediately went and returned after about half an hour.
According to their report, they met with Ben-dono at the Hi-kurōdo entrance, who asked, "Around when will the formal shrine transfer ceremony be conducted?" When the representatives replied, "Since some of the sacred treasures are not yet completed, the date has not yet been determined," he further stated, "If you have even a rough idea, bring a written schedule to Ben-dono's residence by the ninth hour tomorrow." The representatives said, "We understand in detail. Should we also report the contents of today's discussion to the Imperial messenger?" To which he replied, "There's no need for detailed reporting, but it would be appropriate to notify them that these instructions were given." Accordingly, they also notified the Imperial messenger before returning home, etc.

Regarding the above, after consultation among those responsible, it was decided that it would be appropriate to state that the main shrine's formal transfer ceremony should be conducted between mid-August and late August, and the subsidiary and branch shrines' formal transfer ceremonies between late August and late September. A written document was prepared accordingly, to be delivered by the representatives after breakfast tomorrow morning.
1. Artist Kanō Kurando-no-jō was summoned regarding the urgent completion of paintings for the interior ceiling framework of the main shrine's sacred floor. Although he is currently working on the main hall's shadow komainu, he was asked to rest for a day or two to work on this task, to which he agreed.

1. Today at the hour of the Snake (around 10 AM), since all construction alterations and repairs were completed, the adze ceremony was conducted under the eaves of the tower gate as per precedent.
