一午刻過神主博久保韶保土兼為史顕季栄参集保韶演説
云御普請方之内ゟ保韶迄被申候は何成共御寄進被申度処
承り候へは本宮権殿之内御錺太刀は従御公儀御調進有之
候得共今壱振之御太刀は於社中調進之由右之処寄附
被成度候一社存寄無之事ニ候はゝ取計之儀前田忠次郎ゟ保韶
迄被申聞候如何可有之哉存寄無之事ニ御座候はゝ右之趣明十二日
奇会ニ沙汰可有哉之事
評ニ寄附之儀珍重ニ候幸権殿御野太刀無之処右寄附有
之候得は本宮同様ニ相成り候間右御普請方ゟ寄附有之
度旨明日寄会之節保韶ゟ演説有之一統承知之上
可被取計旨之事

一保韶演説云今度御造営御普請方ゟ本宮権殿之内
御太刀一振寄進被致度旨被申候寄附可有之様ニ掛り

では中々八月中には相済み申すまじく候、しかし定まりたる御事にてはなく候えども、何事も下上と申すようになり御座候えば、下鴨より先いかがしく旨申し入れのところ、吉兵衛答えに「左様の事もこれあり候わば、八月中に本宮片岡社相済み候えば宜しかるべきや」と申され候事。その後保韶再び同様に申し入れのところ、返答同前なり。
一、片岡社以下八社御弓修復の儀、元保に兼ね頼みにつき、則ち相渡され候事

一、午刻過ぎ神主博久・保韶・保土・兼・為史・顕季・栄参集。保韶演説云く「御普請方の内より保韶まで申され候は、何なりとも御寄進申したき処、承り候えば本宮権殿の内御飾太刀は御公儀より御調進これあり候えども、今一振りの御太刀は社中において調進の由、右のところ寄附成したく候。一社存じ寄り無きことに候わば、取り計らいの儀、前田忠次郎より保韶まで申し聞かれ候、いかがあるべきや。存じ寄り無きことに御座候わば、右の趣明十二日奇会に沙汰あるべきやの事」
評決に「寄附の儀珍重に候。幸い権殿御野太刀無きところ、右寄附これあり候えば本宮同様に相成り候間、右御普請方より寄附これあり度き旨、明日寄会の節保韶より演説これあり、一統承知の上取り計らわるべき旨の事」

[continuation from previous page] if [work] does not begin, it would be quite impossible to complete within August. However, since this is not a fixed matter, and everything has come to be discussed from bottom to top, it would be inappropriate for Shimogamo to go first. When this was conveyed, Kichibei replied, "If such is the case, would it be acceptable if the main shrine and Kataoka Shrine are completed within August?" Later, when Hoshō made the same inquiry again, the response was the same.
1. Regarding the repair of bows for Kataoka Shrine and the eight other shrines, [the work] was entrusted to Motoyasu and [the bows] were handed over to him.
1. Regarding the repair of the sacred arrows and feather brooms, [the work] was entrusted to Moriyasu, and the old sacred arrows and feather brooms were handed over [to him].
11th day, clear
1. Past noon, head priest Hirohisa, Hoshō, Hosuchi, Kane, court historian Akisue, and Sakae assembled. Hoshō announced: "From among the construction supervisors, [the following] was conveyed to Hoshō: 'We would like to make some kind of donation. We understand that for the decorative sword within the main shrine's temporary hall, there is an official donation from the government, but regarding the other sword, it is to be provided by the shrine community. We would like to make a donation for this. If the shrine has no particular preference, regarding the arrangements, as Maeda Chūjirō conveyed to Hoshō, what would be appropriate? If [the shrine] has no particular preference, shall this matter be discussed at tomorrow's (12th) extraordinary meeting?'"
The decision: "The donation is most welcome. Fortunately, since the temporary hall lacks a field sword, if such a donation were made, it would be the same as the main shrine. Therefore, [we request] that there be such a donation from the construction supervisors. Tomorrow at the meeting, Hoshō will make an announcement, and after everyone understands, arrangements should be made."
