一未半刻於御伝奏櫛笥大納言殿御許転補新補口  宣案御渡ニ付新宮以下六社之祢宜祝参上無滞御渡也  惣代息久兼茂出頭此序取次を以此間被仰聞候宣旨使参向  之事来ル晦日陣被行即日ニ而も何之差支無御座候尤参向刻限  は未刻ニ仕度旨申上且六社 宣旨被下候事来月朔日ゟ  十日迄之内御勝手次第御渡被下候様被申上処御承知被成候  来月二日比か尚追而可被仰下旨取次延保ヲ以御返答被  仰出候事  廿七日晴《割書:庚| 寅》 一式日寄会会所披露  一社司中へ着用之具被相渡候御礼銘々被申入候事  一非職着用之具被相渡候御礼各被申入候事  一去廿三日預別当被申入は今日役儀之浄衣以下不被相渡候何日比   御渡被下候哉被申入候事  一廿五日歌役被申入は御造営ニ付浄衣指貫等頂戴仕度候   未御沙汰無之故被申入候事   評ニ云寛保之社記得与勘出可然旨尚又別当大夫歌役   江も先年頂戴之儀有之候はゝ年月日書付被差出候様   可被申入旨之事  一来晦日宣旨使参向ニ付所之案内之事《割書:其ケ所前ニも有之|故略之》 一午刻過惣代重殖季栄出頭官位小折紙持参其留左   今度就賀茂社家官位申上候於一社遂吟味候処   超越違乱之儀無御座候間速預御奏達蒙   勅許候は一社一統可畏入候以上

現代語訳

一、未半刻に御伝奏櫛笥大納言殿の御許で転補・新補の口宣案の御渡しがあり、新宮以下六社の禰宜・祝が参上し、滞りなく御渡しがありました。  総代息久兼茂が出頭し、この機会に取次を通じてこの間仰せ聞かされていた宣旨使参向の件について、来る晦日に陣を行い、即日でも何の差し支えもございません。もっとも参向の刻限は未刻にいたしたい旨申し上げ、また六社への宣旨を下される件は来月朔日から十日までの内、御都合次第で御渡し下されるよう申し上げたところ、御承知になられました。  来月二日頃か、なお追って仰せ下されるとの旨、取次延保を通じて御返答を仰せ出されました。  二十七日 晴れ(庚寅) 一、式日寄会 会所披露  一、社司中へ着用の具が相渡され、御礼を銘々申し入れられたこと  一、非職へ着用の具が相渡され、御礼を各々申し入れられたこと  一、去る二十三日に預別当が申し入れたのは、今日役儀の浄衣以下が相渡されていない、何日頃に御渡し下されるかを申し入れたこと  一、二十五日に歌役が申し入れたのは、御造営につき浄衣・指貫等を頂戴いたしたい、まだ御沙汰がないので申し入れたこと   評議では、寛保の社記を調べて勘案すべきとの旨、なお別当大夫・歌役へも先年頂戴の儀があれば年月日を書き付けて差し出すよう申し入れるべきとのこと  一、来る晦日の宣旨使参向につき所の案内のこと(その箇所は前にもあるので略す) 一、午刻過ぎに総代重殖季栄が出頭し、官位小折紙を持参した、その控えは左の通り:   この度賀茂社家の官位につき申し上げます。一社で吟味を遂げたところ、   超越違乱の儀はございませんので、速やかに御奏達を預かり   勅許を蒙れば、一社一統畏れ入ることと存じます。以上

英語訳

One: At the half quarter of the Hitsuji hour (around 2:30 PM), at His Excellency Dainagon Kushige's residence, the oral decree documents for transfers and new appointments were distributed. The negi and hafuri of the six shrines including Shingū attended, and the distribution proceeded without delay.  Representative Ikyū Kaneshige appeared, and through this opportunity via an intermediary, regarding the matter of the imperial edict messenger's visit that had been discussed, he reported that the formation would be held on the last day of the month, and there would be no impediment even on the same day. The time of visit should preferably be at the Hitsuji hour (2-4 PM), and regarding the imperial edict to be issued to the six shrines, he requested it be distributed at convenience anytime from the first to the tenth day of next month, which was acknowledged.
