旨仰ニ付何れも次第ニ頂戴被致候例之通御礼申上此序
本宮并貴布祢端正遷宮之節絵図次第書等差上候処御
落手夫ゟ御奉行日野西弁殿へ参上右御礼申上候此序片岡
貴布祢奥絵図片岡社正遷宮次第書差上候御留守故差置
夫ゟ非蔵人口へ参上御奉行弁殿御召ニ付参上申上候処御対面ニ而
被仰渡候は正遷宮之節陰陽寮祓之具用意致候様ニ御書
付御渡尚幸徳井ゟも社中へ可申出候間先格之通可被取計旨也

一当日諸司内見仕度申候間左様ニ相心得取計可遣事承知退下

一申刻過史顕帰郷演説云村山冨右衛門出逢被申候は警固願ニ
正徳之例与有之寛保ニは正徳之例出候此度無之間例書別
紙ニ可差出事又小社正遷宮日時可書出事
一小森典薬頭へ本宮貴布祢遷宮ニ付屠蘇先格之通調進有之
候様惣代中ゟ手紙為持遣則返書到来之事
但趣意は来ル十九日賀茂本宮正遷宮九月二日貴布祢正遷宮ニ付
現代語訳
旨の仰せに付き、いずれも順次に頂戴いたしました。例の通り御礼を申し上げ、この序でに本宮並びに貴布祢端正遷宮の節の絵図・次第書等を差し上げた所、御落手いただきました。それから御奉行日野西弁殿へ参上し、右の御礼を申し上げました。この序でに片岡・貴布祢奥絵図、片岡社正遷宮次第書を差し上げましたが、御留守故差し置きました。それから非蔵人口へ参上し、御奉行弁殿の御召しに付き参上申し上げた所、御対面にて仰せ渡されたことは、正遷宮の節に陰陽寮の祓いの具を用意するようにとの御書付をお渡しいただき、なお幸徳井からも社中へ申し出るべき間、先格の通り取り計らうべき旨でした。

一、小森典薬頭へ本宮・貴布祢遷宮に付き屠蘇を先格の通り調進があるよう、総代中より手紙を持たせ遣わし、則ち返書が到来した事。

Following the imperial command, each received [the documents] in order. As per custom, we expressed our gratitude, and on this occasion submitted diagrams and procedural documents for the formal reconstruction of the Main Shrine and Kifune End, which were duly received. We then visited Lord Hinowari Ben, the magistrate, and expressed our gratitude for the above. On this occasion, we submitted diagrams of Kataoka and Kifune Inner areas and procedural documents for the Kataoka Shrine formal reconstruction, but left them as he was absent. We then went to the non-courtier entrance, and when summoned by Magistrate Ben, we went and reported. In the audience, he conveyed that for the formal reconstruction, purification implements from the Bureau of Divination should be prepared, and gave us written instructions. 1. For the ceremony of presenting offerings by the court official, we request that the shrine community prepare these items.
1. Regarding lodging assignments for various officials, written instructions will be submitted later. Whether the magistrate will convey this to the officials or the shrine community should communicate it, in any case it should be handled according to previous precedent.
1. On the day itself, the various officials wish to conduct an inspection, so we should understand this and make arrangements accordingly. We acknowledged this and withdrew. We then reported this matter to the court liaison.
1. After the hour of the monkey, Shiaken returned home and reported that he met Murayama Tomiemon, who said that for security requests, there were precedents from Shōtoku era, and in Kanpō they used the Shōtoku precedent. Since there is none this time, example documents should be submitted separately, and the dates and times for minor shrine formal reconstructions should also be written out.
1. To Komori Tenyaku-no-kami regarding the reconstruction of Main Shrine and Kifune, we sent a letter through the representatives requesting that toso [ceremonial sake] be prepared according to previous precedent, and a reply was received.
