被成下候処此節御所司闕ニ付御警固御差出無之段被
仰渡奉承知候本宮正遷宮之儀は大切之儀ニ而 勅使
已下御参向之御儀ニ御座候得は神前御固無御座候而は甚歎
ケ敷奉存候何れ之御役人中ニ而も被成下候様御月番御役所へ
御願可申上哉先御掛之儀故以書付此段申上候何分如先格
御警固被成下候様一社一統奉願候以上

一、右につき、まず西御役所へ前田が申した趣旨をもって窺い願いを持参した、左の通り。

来る十九日上賀茂本宮正遷宮につき、先格の通り御所司の御役人中をお遣わし下さるところ、この節御所司が欠員につき御警固をお差し出しにならない段を仰せ渡され、承知いたしました。本宮正遷宮の儀は大切な儀式であり、勅使以下がご参向される御儀でございますので、神前の御警固がございませんでは甚だ嘆かわしく存じます。いずれかの御役人中でもお遣わし下さるよう御月番御役所へお願い申し上げるべきか、まず御掛かりの儀故、書付をもってこの段申し上げます。何分先格の通り御警固をお遣わし下さるよう、一社一統でお願い申し上げます。以上

The formal relocation ceremony of the main shrine is a matter of great importance, with the imperial envoy and others participating, so it would be most lamentable if there were no security for the sacred precincts. Should we petition the monthly duty office to dispatch officials of some department? Since this concerns your jurisdiction, we submit this matter in writing. We respectfully petition as one shrine united that security be provided according to previous precedent. The above.
