蛤町ゟ神宮寺へ三度自夜ニ入初之通池殿町下へ中大路町
上江南図子町ゟ又中大路町上江已上三度被廻候事
一当地火之廻り兼頼之輩成永崇顕芳季季梁万直直望
以上六人下部十人被召連何れも火事装束ニ而昼夜図子小路ニ
至り度々被相廻候事尤夜分は先江高提燈弐つ被持候也

右の勤め方は御所司役人の形で、勅使御進前から高倉の前に
着座の儀である。しかるところ雨天につき楼門西回廊に勅使御退出まで
着座。ただし同心六人のうち二人は東唐門の外左右に着座。右
いずれも円座は社中へ入魂につき社中より設けられた。御所司警固無
きにつき高灯籠無く、各々箱提灯を前に置かれた。右手番方より
正遷宮略次第二通、御参役堂上の御名前も所望につき認めて
差し出された。
一、午刻ばかりに風廻り役人中が入来、着用は各々火事装束の体である。
西組与力上田喜次郎、東組与力妻木六郎兵衛、同心中江与左衛門、
吉竹末次郎、小寺十九郎、吉田勝五郎、浅賀永左衛門、大橋伊三郎、
上町代松原半右衛門、下町代鵜飼茂左衛門、中座一人、小番一人
等である。入来の後、神前向拝見を致したい旨につき、馳走方が狩衣にて
案内（ただし金棒は二鳥居の外に残し置く）。それより在所廻り、十楽寺門より仲間二人が
上下にて案内。先ず池殿町より中大路へ上り南図子町を下る。また中大
路上へ。二度目は申刻ごろ社辺より藤木通り東大田前北大路西へ
蛤町より神宮寺へ。三度自夜に入り初めの通り池殿町下へ中大路町
上へ南図子町よりまた中大路町上へ。以上三度廻られた事。

The above duty assignment follows the form of palace guards, with seating
from the imperial messenger's advance to before Takakura.
However, due to rainy weather, they were seated in the west corridor of the tower gate until the imperial messenger's departure.
However, two of the six dōshin were seated on the left and right outside the east Chinese gate.
All round cushions were provided by the shrine members due to their devotion. Since there were no
palace guards, there were no tall lanterns, and box lanterns were placed in front of each person. From the guard duty,
two copies of the abbreviated procedures for the main shrine relocation and the names of the court nobles participating
were requested and provided.

Yoshitake Suejirō, Kodera Jūkurō, Yoshida Katsugorō, Asaga Eizaemon, Ōhashi Isaburō,
Upper town representative Matsubara Hanemon, Lower town representative Ukai Mozaemon, one middle seat official, one guard
etc. After their arrival, they requested to view the shrine front, so the hospitality staff in hunting robes
provided guidance (however, the metal staffs were left outside the second torii). Then for the local patrol, two companions from Jūrakuji gate
in formal dress provided guidance. First from Ikeden-chō up to Naka-ōji, down Minami-zushi-chō. Then up to Naka-ō
ji again. The second time around the hour of the Monkey, from near the shrine through Fujiki-dōri to Higashi-Ōta front, west on Kita-ōji
from Hamaguri-chō to Jingūji. The third time entering the night, following the first route down to Ikeden-chō, up to Naka-ōji-chō
from Minami-zushi-chō, then up to Naka-ōji-chō again. The above three rounds were completed.

Above six people, accompanied by ten servants, all in fire-fighting attire, repeatedly patrolled
Zushi-kōji day and night. Especially at night, two tall lanterns were carried in front.
